On A Positive Note: It has a nice water view and the free parking lot.
While waiting to be seated, we ordered drinks. The strawberry daiquiri was horrible- a super sweet slushy.
My mom ordered The strawberry salad which was appealing to the eyes and the taste buds. Everything was really fresh. I ordered fried oysters. I asked the server about the seasonal vegetable so which she responded french fries or baked potato. I repeated myself and then she responded. She thinks it’s corn a cough, but she’s unsure if they have any. Upon verifying that they indeed had some I told her that I would have fries. She went on to tell me that I only have a choice of one side if I wanted to add a side of corn I can do so. I never ordered corn. I simply inquired as to the seasonal vegetable. Nonetheless, my order arrived. It was pleasung to my eyes and freshly fried. The oysters were flavorful and juicy. My one complaint is the little cup of coleslaw that tasted more like a cheap mayonnaise cabbage mix. It would have helped if they added perhaps some carrots, some relish and/or vinegar, something.
The Verdict: I would return for the water view and the fried oysters, but I would definitely pass on the strawberry daiquiri. The service was ok but I would I would request a different server next time to compare.

Visiting from Arizona. Service was awesome!! Drinks were solid. I’ve been craving a Lobster Roll for over 6 years. I got the one pictured. It was delicious, but still not what I was looking for. I’ll give it a solid 7.5/10. No mayo, no butter. But the lobster was fresh, and delicious. No other fillers to make it bigger.
It’s a start. Heading to Boston next!

It’s obvious this place wasn’t opened just for the money. With these prices, I wasn’t expecting such high-quality food. Absolutely 5 stars. The Mussels Fra Diavolo were incredible, with the perfect sauce and toasted baguettes. The calamari and fish and chips show they’ve truly mastered the art of maintaining the perfect oil temperature. This place is worth a one-hour drive, even if it’s raining and you can’t enjoy a perfect day on their dock. Our waitress Tracy was “on it” and made the event perfect.
The only “put-off” is it looks like someone that works here parked like a dipstick taking 2 spots when they should be focused on keeping spots for customers.

My first visit to CT I was told I must have a lobster roll. The Sono seaport was recommended as being one of the best. The food did not dissapoint. The crab cake was almost all crab w/o not much filler. Lobster roll was all Lobster . None of that mayo and veggie fillers making it more of a salad and less Lobster. Even the salad was fresh and delicious.

Best lobster roll I’ve ever had, and that includes in Maine. Super fresh, large chunks, and the bread was not greasy at all. The side of coleslaw is just an afterthought – small and not very good. But you’re not there for the coleslaw. You can get a 1/4 lb or a 1/2 lb. served two different ways. We got it the right way, with melted warm butter. Fast service and great location on the water surrounded by seagulls. Really enjoyable.

Searched for a nice seafood restaurant on the water in Norwalk. My husband, son and fiance all went and sat outside on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Our server Sofia was awesome with helping us choose what we wanted to have. My son and I enjoyed the lobster rolls. My husband had the lobster pot pie and he enjoyed it as well as the rest of the family. My son’s fiance ordered a fish sandwich but when she saw the lobster rolls she decided to order that too. We all highly recommend Sono Seaport Seafood Inc.

Absolutely delicious! My cousin and I ordered fried shrimp and fries, clam chowder, and 1/2 pound lobster rolls. The food came out in a timely manner, and fresh. We caught some sun and a nice breeze while waiting! My first of the summer, and so worth the wait!

Sono Seaport Seafood is a very good restaurant located on the sound. The food is excellent even though it’s on the expensive side. A 1/2 pound lobster roll costs $60, that’s a ripoff. But there’s a lot of other options for less money. We did enjoy out time there an do recommend this restaurant.

The oyster po boy sandwich was good but not much else. The portion sizes are on the smaller side. The Diet Coke was completely flat. We sat indoors because people were smoking outside. The indoor dining lacks ambience and the service isn’t great. We were missing coleslaw that was supposed to come with our order. When we got it, it was a tiny cup and didn’t even taste good. Had to ask for ketchup for the fries – the waitress gave us the little fast food packets. So tacky for dine-in service. Probably won’t be back as there’s way better options nearby.
