Sonny’s is wonderful! We joined my brother and his girlfriend for brunch last Sunday, as this is their neighborhood haunt. The location is in downtown Dover and looks like a blast in terms of the bar scene.

Whenever I am away from home I search for something that reminds of it. Sonny’s Tavern hit that on the head. From the way the staff interacted with us to the drinks and food it felt like I was at one of my local favorites. I will be enjoying breakfast here again and again until I’ve had all that they can offer. Very very impressed, you will be too.

Started off with the brussel sprouts, which were amazing, leaving me wishing I had 2 orders of them. For my entree i had the original chicken sandwich with truffle fries. The chicken was perfectly crispy and fries were deliciously seasoned. For drink I had the modern love which was so refreshing!

Great service and fantastic food. The Brussels sprouts and short rib risotto could not have been better. We had the biscuits and butter for dessert and they were amazing. Overall, just a fantastic experience. Will definitely be back.

Good drinks but consistently bad food and service. I got sick from salmon that tasted like a Porta potty 6 months ago and my waitress hid from me. I even had stomach issues the next day. My friend really wanted to get drinks and apps there tosay so I relented, but it was terrible. I was expecting more than 5 fries for $8 before tax and tip. Our waitress explained they were “thick cut”. Maybe with gold… The fries were bland and so were the chicken tenders. Definitely never going back after this.

I went out drinking here for my very first time at the ripe age of 25! Had an Espresso Martini and it was DELICIOUS. The wmazingly kind&friendly bar tender put a smoke filled bubble on top of my drink! I had a blast, will for sure be back soon!!
