Had a quick brunch, sitting outside, at Sonny’s. Classic sports bar, hip, no frills spot. Lots of TVs and a good variety of food options.
Special “bubbles basket” deal was great for some mimosas on Saturday. For food we split the chicken sandwich, truffle tots and Caesar salad.
Wouldn’t be my first place to go back to in Germantown but had a good time.

We had such a fun Christmas Pop up bar experience. Their staff made it so much fun. Drinks were dialed in, the food was just the right amount and tasty, and they put so much work into the decorations. Must’ve taken them about a week to put that all together. Huge kudos to the team there. Will be coming back for their other pop ups

It’s a great place. Really is. They do karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Thing is, you can barely hear the singers. Now don’t get me wrong, often times you don’t want to hear the singers, but if folks are brave enough to get up there, then turn up the sound so they’re not an afterthought on the stage, drowned out but the conversation of the customers. And also, do what you used to do: put the words of the songs on other screens too so the crown can be involved.
Still love this place though.

We came here for brunch, so my opinions are strictly limited to my brunch experience:
The good things:
– Staff is super awesome. Brady was helping us and wanted to give him a shout out. He was just extraordinary. Also, we took our own sweet time to finish our lazy brunch but he didn’t rush us.
– location is convenient, plenty of street parking available. Food comes fast.
– side of potatoes was really good.
Didn’t work for me:
– Avocado toast was really bad. Large chunks of red onions and tomatoes were on the avocado toast and the mashed avocados had lime in it. It was like a bad guacamole on toast.
– they didn’t have espresso. Neither did they have oat milk or soy milk or even 2% milk. Just the packaged creamer and brewed coffee was what got served to me. I understand most people go for their margarita flight for brunch but I wouldn’t completely overlook the coffee department specially during brunch hours.
– for avocado toast that costs $12+ I’d at least include two toasts, which is standard across all brunch places. Unless the toast is fully loaded which it was not.
Overall, it seemed like a cool place to hang out at night; the brunch scene just didn’t vibe with me.

We went here for some food on a Saturday night. 10 pm-ish. It was most definitely a college bar by that time but the food was exceptionally good especially given the vibes of the place haha. We got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich some wings and a salad. The margaritas were also good. They had karaoke going on and that was entertaining. My old crotchety husband who doesn’t like loud music said he would go back for the food lol.

The vibe of this place is real good .
Great service, live music and a great outdoor indoor seating area in the heart of germantown.
The food though could be a hit or a miss .
We got the fried dill pickle which was so oily and sticky we had to send it back
The tater tots we ordered was filled with cheese all over .
The chicken sandwich and the mango shrimp taco were okay .
The pretzel bites was the one decent dish we got i guess.
But overall its a great place to eat listen to nice music and get drunk with your friends !

We came here for Nashville burger week 2022, and thought this place was pretty awesome. My wife and I may have blown the age curve a little bit as we’re no longer 20-30 somethings, but the majority younger crowd seemed to be having an awesome time as there were a lot of large group parties. The atmosphere was fun, the karaoke was… let’s just leave it at that… and the food and wait staff were awesome. Definitely worth coming back!

We found Sonny’s on a Friday evening whilst exploring Germantown area.
Our server was welcoming and came across really friendly. We ordered a couple of beer flights (great way to try a few new ones) and had the nachos with chicken. Both were good.
Never went back on our trip though. Something about the vibe (possibly their choice of music and accompanying video’s) that just sat wrong with me.
