Ordered the 24 inch Grizzzwitch, and a couple 10 inch subs and cheesesteaks for the boys. The fella on the phone was super nice and when I explained to him what I wanted he did for warn me that the bread is authentic South Philly bread and crusty on the outside. He was not wrong. I had a microwave at for a minute to soften it up as I’m not a fan of crusty chewy bread. Sandwich was decent and the boys loved their cheesesteak. As I’m a bit new to the area my opinion is that it has a very Italian taste and vibe. A little bit spicy, garlic, and onion aftertaste.

Me and my fiancé stopped in after hearing about this place, it did not disappoint! The employees were so nice and gave great recommendations! We had the south Philly and the junk yard they were the best hoagies we’ve ever had! I asked how their chicken cutlets were and they gave us a sample and wow- amazing! (We will have to try that out next!) Can’t believe I grew up in this area and just tried them for the first time! We will definitely be back!

Stopped at Sonny’s Italian Deli yesterday and had the Junkyard sandwich — absolutely delicious! Piled high with turkey, prosciutto, sharp provolone, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, and spinach with garlic… all on a fresh sesame seed roll. Every bite was packed with flavor.
If you’re anywhere near Sonny’s Italian Deli, do yourself a favor and stop in. Easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time!

Been a long time since i had a really goog sangwich. Stopped in today-i was craving Sarcone’s bread. Got the Daily Pecial: Hot Roast Pork with Provolone, cole slaw and hot honey.
OH MY GOD!
First off- its HUGE! The roast pork was moist and the flavors worked together. Not a hoagie you coild eat in the car. This is a full sit down or get your elbows on the counter type deal. Get the extra paper towels ready for this one. This thing could probably feed 2-3 people. It was amazing.

Sonny’s is absolutely AMAZING. It was our first time trying it and it did not disappoint. I got the Junk Yard and it was so good, the seeded roll is the best. Staff was super friendly, we called ahead and our order was ready when we arrived. Definitely go to Sonny’s if you want an authentic South Philly experience in the suburbs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Hard NO for me, wasted my money.
The cheesesteak meat tastes boiled…no flavor, soggy roll from boiling the meat in a little pan.
No gloves, no washing hands & picking scabs than touching food.
Prices for what your getting is terrible!

This Philadelphia themed deli hidden in Royersford/Limerick PA is the Bomb! They have authentic italian south philly sandwich’s! I grabbed the Gourmet Italian and I was not disappointed in any way, They are only open until 4pm so place your order accordingly. Sonny’s also has Philadelphia Eagles based sandwiches that honors eagles players: David Ackers- Donovan McNabb and so on. Check this place out!!
