So happy I got to finally try this place! Point blank if you’re looking for somewhere that has good food that tastes like you went to the store and made it in your kitchen after a hard day’s work for a unbelievable price this is your spot!
The restaurant has a very downhome feel in the atmosphere and the staff is so friendly. I was seated immediately and approached for what I wanted to drink. While I just ordered a water a lady was kind and brought out a small pitcher for me to use for refilling.
The sign on the window says the best burgers in town. In my opinion this is probably accurate. Why? I stated earlier it tasted like a burger I would have made right in my kitchen. It came out hot, fresh and just the right amount of seasoning. It was really light tasting which I prefer because I enjoy the burger itself. Ordered a couple of hot dogs as well to try and while they were as basic as basic could be that was absolutely perfect!
Looking at the menu you would be hard pressed to find anything that’s not a reasonable cost especially in today’s landscape. Cash price is cheaper and there’s a 4% surcharge for using a card. Quite honestly even with the surcharge my ticket was still cheaper than anywhere else I could have got what I had.
If you’ve never been stop by and give them a try. I look forward to coming back and trying some other things on the menu!

My first time eating here. I pass it daily. So, today we finally decide to give it a try. The Double Cheeseburger with crinkle fries was good, fresh, and hot. The vibe was really nice. Plus, the service was A+ and clean. If you haven’t tried it. Stop by. I will definitely go back again.

2025 09 20 – I did a Google search for best hotdogs near me and Sonny’s popped up. Found them to be very popular with a line waiting for tables. I found no reason for their popularity. They only offer 3 boring basic dogs. Plain, slaw, and corn dog so I opted for a cheeseburger. Disappointing. Old school. Smooshed. No fresh toppings. No lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion. Fries were served cold.
Apparently many people like the place and people have different tastes so maybe you will like it.

I highly recommend getting a Double Cheeseburger and Cherry Lemon Sundrop (this is not the one you buy in stores, this is. Mixed and made in house using Cherry Syrup mix…sooo good)
You can buy bottles off the cherry Sundrop syrup when they have it for sale. You just have to catch them when they are doing it, and they don’t do it all the time. But if you get it you can make Sonny’s Dutch Mill Cherrly Lemon Sundrop at home.
The also have some nice Sonny’s Dutch Mill baseball hats. I believe they was only $10 or $15.
Also, make sure you get some of those delicious crispy onion rings. I love the batter they use it is one of the best tasting onions rings I’ve had.
The chuck wagon is really good to and a lunchtime staple.
The chicken tenders are nice and crispy, cooked perfect and have a good taste. You can pair it with your choice of sauces like ranch or Honey Mustard. I like things hot so I get the chicken tenders with buffalo sauce (but it’s not hot to be because I have a high tolerance for spicy foods).

I went here because I had a taste for a good hotdog. Unfortunately, this location did not satisfy my craving. I have never had a hotdog so dry! The chili was bland and the slaw beneath was tasteless. The home fries had ZERO seasoning. Thankfully my daughters enjoyed their meals but they had to add seasoning to their food also. I can’t speak to the cleanliness of the store or the customer service because I didn’t go inside. I don’t think I will eat here again. Big disappointment.

I have been wanting to try Sonny’s Dutch for so long and today I am happy to have gone. Atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Everything looked clean and tidy.
Menu was simple and easy to read. Waitresses were kind and helpful.
Food was very tasty and affordable. Our food genuinely tasted homemade. Portions were very satisfying and filling.
I had the Club Sandwich and my son had the Double Ben burger (2 6oz patties). Diffently will return to try other dishes.
