Mandy was fantastic!!! It was our first time eating at Sonny’s. She made great suggestions, was friendly and prompt. We ordered so many things to try and everything was delicious….everything!!! Prices were very fair for the servings of food!! The pulled pork egg rolls….yum!

We got there at about 3:45 p.m. and it wasn’t that busy. It was a little strange that one person seated us and got us our drinks, someone else asked us if we needed drinks when we already had them, and yet another person was the one who took our order and served us the rest of the time. Haha. We ordered the brisket, pulled chicken platters, and kids mac and cheese. For one of the platters we were swapped out the default sides of cole slaw and baked beans for mac and cheese and crinkle fries, but all four of these sides we had were delicious. The brisket and pulled chicken were so good. Prices were fair and service was great. Inside decor was very modern and well thought out.

First time customer. Enjoyed both the food and service. We tried the three meat platter getting the ribs, brisket and sliced pork. My favorite was the ribs. My daughter liked the brisket. If you’re a first time customer, let them know.

Food was ok..does not taste like it has in the past. Don’t like the changes in to food and not having a salad bad anymore. No fault of the staff a large family came in with kids crying. I have kids and we don’t stay if they are cranky as respect to others eating. Ryan our server was new and was very nice.

Sweet Carolina BBQ topped with slaw. Extremely clean inside, looks like it is brand new. Fast friendly service. Not expensive. Highly recommend!

Excellent barbecue and service. Personal favorite is the pulled pork… Everything very tender and flavorful. Although the serving sizes are smaller than a few other BBQ places I’ve frequented, the prices are lower so it all balances out. Domestic draft beers are super cheap during happy hour.

Normally pretty good barbecue, but today there was hairs on our ribs and ribs were cold. The best thing about Sonny’s today was the waitress, who tried to make up for the line cooks 2 mistakes. We were comped for the meals but lost our taste for BBQ ribs that day. This was our first negative encounter at Sonny’s. I would recommend kitchen staff wear hair nets and test food temperature before delivering to patrons. Sonny’s is still recommended, but i will be looking at my food a little closer now
