Had an amazing experience here, and I have to give a shoutout to the manager, Ethan. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the customers and his team — he was present, attentive, and made sure everything was running smoothly the entire time. The atmosphere felt welcoming and well-organized, and the service really stood out because of his leadership.
It’s rare to see a manager so involved and positive while still keeping things professional and efficient. Ethan truly helped make our visit memorable, and it’s definitely a big reason we’ll be coming back!

Came in, sat at the bar for over 5 minutes, it actually took my wife going up to the hostess stand and asking her if anyone was working the bar, before we even got service. Food was so-so, we were charged extra for fries with a sandwich and apparently some more upcharges for little stuff. Just not what it used to be. Gone WAY downhill in the last year, for some reason or another. Used to be the best BBQ in the area, but now definitely not worth the price or headache of lack of service and sub-par food for the price. Maybe someday, they can fix it back to good quality food and service. Side note: noticed other staff members acted like if it wasn’t their job, it wasn’t going to be done at least by them, including checking on customers, answering phone, helping other servers, etc. Just would stand there drinking their water, or pouring themselves drinks at the bar, and ignoring everyone in the whole place.

Ordered the Family Meal for Curbside. Signed in got confirmation that they would be out in a few minutes. 30 min later. I bundled up our newborn to go inside. ( The whole reason we got curbside) It was just sitting on the shelf and everything was cold. Thanks for a great dinner experience! NOT! Do Better..

First time stopping in and I had a great experience. Ethan came by our table to make sure everything was good, which really stood out. Friendly staff, efficient service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

Each time we come here it just gets worse. The tables and things on the tables are sticky like a 4 year old used them and cleaned them. That’s probably because they have the waiters and waitresses cleaning the tables instead of the hostess who stands around with a tablet and does nothing.
Our last visit the blond didn’t even ask us if we were waiting to be seated, she asked the people in front of us then just walked away.
A 20 minute wait when there are 10 open but dirty tables.
Then after waiting, the food is just horrendous. The pulled pork was just a greasy mess, I wouldn’t serve that to my dog. The food was cold (same the last couple times we were there). The waitress never came back to ask us about our food, then brought us the check with full plates of food left and never asked us how anything was or if anything was wrong.
The baby back ribs are over cooked, stringy, dry, and very little meat.
I wanted to believe it must have been an off night, but that would be 3 off nights the last three times we went. What a waste and a horrible waste of money and food.

So much great BBQ good luck deciding. Visited with my colleagues and everyone enjoyed there food and had a great time. First time having fried Okra it was like little fried zucchini balls tastes great. The wings are seasoned nicely and they have 5 types of BBQ sauce available for dipping. Main course was great to the Ribs, BBQ chicken, and pulled pork. Make sure to try there cornbread best I’ve had since childhood. Server was friendly and on point throughout the entire experience. Definently would recommend it.

I’ve been to Sonny’s a handful of times, but I’ve never received service like I did during my last visit. Sonja, my waitress, was an absolute powerhouse and truly embodied what it means to be an exceptional employee. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant was busy, and she was handling multiple tables at once — yet she managed to provide attentive, efficient, and genuinely warm service to everyone. She went above and beyond, making each interaction feel personal and sincere.
