Was visiting Ocala for the weekend and was late Sunday evening when I stop to Sonny’s for a quick bite to eat. The have the best BBQ pull pork sandwich with Garlic Bread. The place had a few customers so the service was good in a quiet atmosphere. Great place for a quick meal.

The food is always great here but my issue is the fact that I placed a to-go order and while I was sitting at the bar, I had the unwelcomed pleasure of sitting and listening as the staff (2 females to be exact) talked about a young man who I know to be mentally challenged as well as multiple other customers that apparently frequent the restaurant. This was highly inappropriate and I hope that management will handle this issue promptly!

Went there today for dinner Dee was our server, she was quick and funny! Our food came out FAST! The corn nuggets where delicious as was everything else we got! My kid ate two servings of the Mac and cheese and asked for more. The garlic toast was perfect and the sweet tea was on point. We came here because of all the reviews and they where right! Must go! We will be back!

Just updating. Went here they made fun of how deep my voice was. So I left a review about it they answered to my review they gave me a whole free meal and drink it was very sweet and kind of them. Specially over something so childish and little. Sonnys will forever be a favorite for me.
