My husband and I had lunch at Sonny’s today and were in Laura’s section. Our food was so good and the service was excellent. Laura was so personable. She took great care of us and always had a smile on her face. We’ll ask for her on our next visit.

The Pulled Pork was fantastic — right up until my girlfriend discovered a piece of plastic wrap mixed into her sandwich. She actually chewed on it and nearly swallowed it before realizing what it was. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a restaurant.
After that, we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat the rest of the pulled pork sandwich or even the pulled pork appetizer we had ordered — both clearly came from the same batch. It’s honestly unsettling to think we may have ingested smaller bits of plastic before noticing.
Our server was kind but surprisingly unfazed, which makes me wonder if this sort of thing happens more often than it should. They comped the sandwich and gave 25% off the rest of the bill, but looking back, the entire meal should’ve been taken care of as only a few bites were taken before the incident. At that point, though, we just wanted to leave — it was genuinely disturbing.
The food had potential, but this experience was unacceptable. If you do eat here, please check your food carefully. Hopefully this was a one-off mistake, but it didn’t feel that way in the moment.

Went here with my dad and partner and Ana took great care of us. Always came by with a smile and she was never afraid to answer any questions we had. She definitely has an heir of great hospitality around her, I’ll come back and request her section for sure! I’ve been to Sonny’s before but never with such great service. Great experience overall!

We come here pretty often as it close to home and an easy meeting spot for the family. My mom loves to meet here after church every Sunday which we have been doing for about a year now. We’ve come to get to know a lot of the servers. Kristen, Lisa and Milton always took amazing care of us! Lisa is our go to on Sundays and takes phenomenal care of us and any friends we bring along! She is on top of everything, and has our orders memorized! The food is pretty consistent every visit with the occasional instance of it dryer one visit more so than another. But it comes out hot and fast. It’s the amazing service and convenience of location that keeps us coming back!

I come to Sonnys every Sunday and always sit with Lisa! She is our absolute favorite! She is engaging, personable and very knowledgeable about the menu items. She treats us like family and is always asking how we are and what’s new. It is evident when we are there that every table gets the same care and service from her. She is definitely an asset to Sonnys and she keeps us coming back! Side note I miss the grilled chicken breast! It was awesome!
