We had a work party and very last minute decided to have it catered instead of providing the food ourselves. I called Sonny’s and told them about my predicament and asked if they were able to take a catering order for a party that was the next day. They quickly agreed it was doable and happily accommodated us. I placed an order for far more BBQ and sides than we needed and was shocked by how low the price was considering the size of the crowd I was feeding. I would have spent more than that attempting to self-cater this event. We picked up the food at the time given to us, and found it to be all packaged up with all the sauces and utensils. The food was a hit with our group, and plenty of people were able to make plates and take them home. We will definitely be using them to cater all of our future events, as it was both cost effective, and delicious!

We have eaten here many times. The food is always delicious and the servers are friendly. Danette waited on us and did a great job. I had the lettuce wedge and added some pulled pork so I could place it on the salad. My wife had pulled pork and okra. It was well prepared. Can’t wait to go back.

Incredible Cuban Sandwich with thick pickles and a truly unique pull and shredded pork blend with top grade Swiss and buttery bread paired with possibly the absolute best straight Mac and Cheese to ever hit my taste buds, unsweet tea that was robustly brewed and a cole slaw that was fresh, cool and crunchy. I probably had the worst waitress of the bunch and it was still decent, so that says a lot about the service. At one point I almost questioned if she filled my drink from someone else’s glass but other than that..pretty good. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious and has a great vibe. Definitely made me want to wonder to the bar area but unfortunately I had to refrain. Will probably be back or find another location and have the brisket.

We come to this Sonny’s all the time and it is consistently good with kind and great service. We also get catered food from time to time and it’s always fresh and done right! People forget this Sonny’s has a drive through. The sweetest staff work it and do a fantastic job. Get the sliced brisket, fried okra, and smoked wings!

I have been to this location (Pace, FL) for lunch a few times, dine-in was an improvement on ordering for pickup, although the service leaves much to be desired.
Today I ordered pulled pork. I picked up my order, left the restaurant and looked in the box after driving away. The meat was pulled chicken and the fries were brown, cold and looked old. At first I thought my order was mixed up with someone else’s so
I checked the receipt and it was my name. I turned around and went back and told the lady at the takeout counter that I ordered pork and was given chicken. The lady took my box to the back, turned around, walked back to me with it and argued that it is pork. At that point I wish I had asked for a refund. I told her I’ve been there several times recently and had the pulled pork and that ain’t it!! Have you ever seen solid white pulled pork? So she went to the back and then I hear the cook raising his voice and he continued running his mouth the entire time I waited for my order. I was given “new” food which appears to be the chicken is originally was given with some pork chopped up and piled on top of it. The meat is obviously chicken, looks like chicken and tastes like chicken. The little goopy crap they threw on top looks like the trimmed part of the pork that should’ve went in the trash. So not only was I caused to be late getting back to work, I still don’t have the food I ordered. I mean, did they bleach the pork and infuse chicken flavor because it sure does look and taste like chicken. Also this worries me since I know people with an allergy to poultry and you have a place serving chicken claiming it is pork. This could be disastrous if served to someone with an allergy. The fries I requested to be made fresh were hot, but not one grain of salt was on them and they are still brown and looked nasty. I unfortunately was in a hurry and did not get a picture of the original food, but you can see in the pictures with this post that I was given 2 very obviously different meats after going back.

Loaded tots were excellent. My husband’s wings were great. The portions were good and we love the cornbread muffin. The staff was welcoming and very attentive. The new manager stopped by twice to check on us. We will return.

YALL If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, you have to check this place out. I came with my little niece and we had such a fun time. The Smokin Gun was phenomenal I also got the broccoli which was buttery and flavorful.
Their glasses are also HUGE! The people are kind and the service was super quick!

I came in for lunch looking to get some tablet work done while I eat. The atmosphere was excellent, the food was fresh, and the friendly treating and conversation I had with Juanita was welcoming. I Love Sonny’s BBQ and I definitely plan to come back soon!

Our food was delicious. The cornbread muffins were amazing. My son finished his brisket grilled cheese in two bites because it was so good. We did have left overs and they held up and were great the next day.
