Absolutely, positively, fantastic! I had the Prime Rib Sandwich, Candied Bacon Mac and Cheese and the Apple Bread Pudding and every single item was absolutely delicious in every aspect. The prime rib itself was a melt-in-your mouth tender and full of flavor. Pair that with crispy onions and a dab of Sweet Sonny’s Sauce and it’s so amazing my toes curled a little bit on the first bite. Let’s not forget the Candied Bacon Mac and Cheese sidekick which is a perfect mix of cheesey pasta and crispy, crunchy sweet and savory (simultaneously) bacon pieces that make an unbelievably delicious combo. Finally, as an afterthought I ordered the apple breadpudding which was an entire delight, sweet, fruity and cinnamon all at the same time. Could not ask for a better meal, well, I was also informed they have an “all-you-can-eat” option which is probably one of the greatest bits of information I’ve ever heard and will probably be my choice at the next location. They even had the only sport I like to watch, women’s tennis, on the TVs and the country music so low it was almost inaudible, which is how that should be.

The Pick 3 Combo arrived still steaming and was great temp. The pulled pork is fantastic, so as the jalapeño sausage. The sliced brisket was on the dry side but was good enough.
They had some the best mac n cheese I have had in a longtime and the Chocolate Chip Cookies were awesome. The broccoli was great and cornbread is so so good.
Sonny’s pulled pork is a welcome addition to pan handle pork and Alabama white sauce wings are worth a try.

Ordered takeout from Sonny’s for dinner while in the Fort Walton area for work. Food ordered was okay as I have had better and fresher BBQ at other places in America I’ve been to. I ordered the brisket which was dry and the dark chicken which was also dry. Small portions for the amount paid but I guess that is everywhere now due to price inflation. Maybe the food is better for lunch when the food is freshly made since it is BBQ. I won’t be going back to find out.

Sonny’s is a pretty great option for bbq. I always get the brisket and broccoli. The corn nuggets are always delicious and no one has ever complained about the fried okra, either! They have several sauce options on the table, and I love that they offer coke zero.

Had great service and delicious food! The ribs were a great flavor, and they have the best Baked Beans! I Had the white meat baked chicken, it was not dry! Corn muffins and garlic toast are cooked just right. Sweet tea is the best! Came again in December for dinner and decided to have a beer, with dinner. The draft beers were served in a frosty cold mug, but disappointed because they didn’t have any orange for my Shock Top. Had the prime rib sandwich and it was served with a side, so I chose the fries. I was disappointed again because I love horseradish on my prime rib, and they didn’t have any. The sandwich was just ok, I wouldn’t have it again. My husband got the Meat Trio, and he chose the baked beans and Cole slaw, both were tasty and fresh! Service was great and our bill was under $50!

We go here often , and tonight was absolutely horrible .. we sat in the drive thru for almost a hour.. then wanted sliced brisket they said they only had chopped so we said that was fine . They gave us burnt brisket on both of our sandwiches that we couldnt even eat , and I had to go in twice to get the rest of my order that they forgot . So almost $40 down the drain . Terrible food & service

I want to thank Tiffany for going above and beyond today. Technology is hard, especially with cognitive decline, and it’s embarrassing as all get out when you have to ask for help for simple things. I couldn’t get the app to work, and she found a way. Best part, I didn’t lose my points or my $5 coupon. Kind, helpful with fun conversation!

I used the drive thru which was super convenient. I got the buy one get one free pulled pork sandwiches 1 on a bun and the other on garlic toast. The pork was bland but there was a lot of meat on each that I actually took a good bit off and was able to eat later which is always a good issue to have! The baked beans are pretty good and the peach cobbler egg rolls were pretty awesome. Will return to try more the menu
