Great place to stop for lunch or dinner while traveling. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the people are very friendly. The sandwich bread is crunchy and fresh.

Wednesday night had a constant crowd in/out. Server was prompt and quick witted, a lot of fun. Manager came by table to check on us at least 3 times. Sweet tea glass, had a bleach odor and was promptly swapped out for us. Food was delicious and hot.
I would love to see the parking lot get some maintenance. Concrete sidewalk and asphalt need to be power washed and restriped. Obviously the interior has been renovated, but exterior has not.

Food was absolutely delicious, but we were seated for an hour without receiving our food. Our server apologized for the wait ahead of time but then was nowhere to be found for an hour. We had to flag down other servers to help us, then our server reappeared. I would still go back, however I expect them to seat people accordingly when it comes to the amount of servers they have. Overworking servers does not help the company nor the patrons.

I haven’t been here in years. They had a small menu and I had pulled pork with garlic toast and tater tots. Our server was great; polite, didn’t hover, quick, and pleasant. The food was ok. The pulled pork was drenched in a super sweet sauce (probably my bad for not reading the menu, but I honestly don’t remember it saying it came sauced) that was not at all my cup of tea and wasn’t super hot when I got it. The tots were fine. Nothing about the food was terrible.

Sonny’s is a solid 4-star BBQ mostly set up for catering or dine-in, however, everything is available for take out. The food quality is on par with most other BBQ establishments. Portions are slightly smaller than expected, around 5 ounces each on the 2-Meat plate. For two of us eating a 2-Meat plate with one upgraded side and 20% tip ran about $54. No app and no drinks, just take-out meals. Service was way longer than any BBQ should be. You can walk into a Dickey’s BBQ and get slightly more meat at a better price point in one-fourth the time. The sides are far better at Sonny’s and the sauce is perfect which helps. But really, your here for the meats. So, again, a solid 4-Star option. Next we’ll try dine-in and update if warranted.

OMG you have to go and ask if Cameron is working! I’ve never had such a great waiter. I actually usually prefer waitresses because guys (no offense) are usually not that great at waiting tables. Cameron is the GOAT!!! This is the second time we’ve been and had him, and it is the best 2x’s of service I’ve ever had and we’ve been going here since they opened! The food was good and fresh as well, with enough left over for lunch tomorrow! The fried okra was extra crispy as requested, and the fries and tots were cooked perfectly (I forgot to take pictures of our main dishes). The ribs and smoked turkey were great too.

Stopped here while driving through for a quick bite on a Saturday afternoon. No wait. Restaurant was clean. Friendly and attentive service. Quick and accurate order. Drinks are big. Food was good. Bathrooms were clean.

Walked in Friday night said there was a wait put on list waited 30 minutes and noticed others coming in and getting seated no one was aware of the list sitting in front of them I said something got seated. Told there was a 40 minute wait to get food after ordered. Went to order no onion rings and after a 45 minute wait food comes out and mine is cold I gave up talk to manager who was very nice she removed mine from bill and we left still paid 60 dollars and I left hungry and mad
