The BBQ pork sandwich on garlic toast is really good, and it’s a good price if you order “The Bid Deal” which is basically a combo with a drink and a side.
The dry rub wings and onion rings are also really good.

During our trip to Atlanta, we decided to stop in Commerce for dinner, and it turned out to be the best choice we could have made. We discovered this restaurant, and it was completely worth it. The flavor, the size of the portions, and the service were all great. Now we know exactly where to stop on our future trips!

Had a chance to visit a fine BBQ place today. One has to have his appetite satisfied before buying groceries.. So I popped in and had a fine meal, A sliced pork sandwich with large drink and fries. The service was top notch. Quick and polite. The kitchen was quick to send out my meal and It was as I had thought , a FINE sliced BBQ pork SANDWITCH.. The fries were hot and just right, nice and crispy on the outside and moist and fresh on the inside
It is hard to beat sonny’s BBQ and the location in Commerce, GA does a fine job of putting the customer out front. Waitresses that serve the customer, with a smile and the food of the day

While traveling we have certain restaurants we prefer. We were very happy to find a Sonny’s Barbecue in the area. This location is one of the newer style with a bar and drive through. The food is excellent, true slow smoked barbeque. Our server was excellent, very friendly and attentive. A great meal.

We recently ate at the Sonny’s in Commerce, GA. It was very good. The turkey was so good that it didn’t even need sauce. But, the sauces are good too. I just wish that Sonny’s would bring back their Original sauce. It was so good. I never have understood why they changed it.

We Ordered take out and was extremely disappointed.
We purchased original brisket slices and a slab of ribs with sweet BBQ sauce to add to our thanksgiving leftovers.
1)the ribs were so small, I’m wondering what kind of animal they used bc I’ve never been served ribs that come in baby cow size? The taste was okay, but very small and a small amount of meat was on the ribs.
2)the brisket was okay, nothing to write home about.
3)the pecan egg rolls were overcooked and hard to chew, and also didn’t taste good. I almost chipped my tooth trying to chew it. I’ll never order this again.
I’d be willing to try this restaurant sitting inside, as the reviews are so good from others, so maybe the inside restaurant experience is better. I did like the customer experience and the food was ready early however it did not meet our expectations at all as first timers. Very disappointed

Placed a pick up order at 6:30 on Sunday. Waited for 20 minutes after they said it would be out shortly. Went to the drive through, and waited 15 more minutes. Didn’t leave until 7:15, when I checked the bag there were no utensils. I was already irritated with the horrible service and lack of communication and then as I was eating my sandwich I bit into a gigantic piece of lard. They didn’t apologize for us waiting over 45 minutes, unless giving me lard and no utensils is the Sonny’s way

I love Sonny’s BBQ I always get brisket.. I went there with my wife 2 weeks ago we had brisket and it was fabulous every bite of it.. I returned yesterday.. we ordered the exact same thing and it was even better than before.. the waitress was very professional and made us feel a good down the earth atmosphere.. was so good we cleaned our plates.. I’m grateful to have a Sonny’s in our area
