I know this is a chain restaurant, but I have never eaten here. It was really good. The hot BBQ sauce is mildly spicy, so give it a try. It’s a good place to take children. So if you’re on a road trip, stop in and enjoy a good meal.

I usually get the whole hog sandwich, or the the meat sampler, but this time I got the candied bacon burger… and it was GREAT! Medium rare OF COURSE! A Barbque place that makes a great burger too! I tried the new Candied Bacon Chicken Sandwich. It wasn’t made as shown on the internet. The description says it has Swiss cheese and onion straws, but mine didn’t have the onion straws and was made with American cheese. The chicken was kind of chewy, almost a grisly texture. The sandwich also was smaller than I expected. My take on the sandwich, as it was served, was that it’s nothing special and I don’t plan on ordering it again. The fries were also skimpy as compared to the bag of fries I usually get with the big deal. So the food was so-so, but the cashier is always over-the-top friendly. My receipt says her name is Bailey.

Baby back ribs were decent. Loaded tots were fine. My son had the brisket sandwich. He normally likes everything but left this half eaten. Had a lot of fat and didn’t taste very good. Also cups and glasses left in eye shot for a bit does not make for great aesthetics for a restaurant. Our waitress very nice.

Was recently in Commerce buying a vehicle. Did a quick Google search and saw positive ratings about this restaurant. Was definitely not disappointed! We were there on Monday May 15th 2023, the restaurant was clean, people were smiling and the restrooms were also clean. Our server was absolutely wonderful! We ordered an appetizer as well as some entrees and she timed it just right. So the entrees came out as we were finishing our appetizer. Got the three meat plate with pulled pork, chopped brisket and jalapeno cheddar sausage. Side dishes of dirty rice and macaroni and cheese. The meats did not disappoint! Great brisket with a nice smoke ring and right amount of fat chopped in. Dirty rice was very good, but macaroni and cheese was average. Will definitely keep this one on the list if I travel back through town. Can’t say enough good things about the service!
