This was my second visit to Sonny’s and it was fantastic! The Waiter was amazing. Gave me great food recommendations! The dishes that we ordered were delicious and presented so well! I will definitely be back soon!

Someone recommended we stop into this small restaurant and bar right on Arenas near all the gay bars. Wonderful place with great staff and great food. My husband had the lobster eggs Benedict and he said it’s the best he has ever had. I had the wedge salad and the pork potstickers. We both had drinks. Everything was amazing and we highly recommend this place. Their outdoor patio is very cute and good for people watching and great view of the mountains. Our server, Tara, was awesome!!
Update: We visited Palm Springs again in August, 2024, and of course had to go to Sonny’s again. My husband had the lobster eggs Benedict which was amazing. I had the prime rib sandwich special with their fries which are kind of like sliced potatoes. Beautiful outdoor patio with water misters to stay cool and inside is nice too. Our server, Jacquelyn, was great!!! Highly recommend this place.

My friend had the club sandwich and the medallion potatoes and said his meal was pretty good. I had the macaroni and cheese with chicken cutlet. The chicken was actually pretty good. The macaroni and cheese was absolutely gross. Ice cold in the center and gritty I asked them to heat it up and they did they brought it back. The outer edges were hot, the middle was cold again. It was in a cast-iron skillet so I don’t know how they were able to microwave it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Came in on Saturday just in time for a happy hour. Ordered two sets of sliders and a BLTA. Pulled pork sliders were good. The hamburger sliders came with impossible meat instead of regular meat (not sure if this was a mess up at the kitchen or the waiter). The BLT sandwich bread was soaked in oil (just too much)! The bacon cut was wide enough for a balanced bite. Mixed impressions… I’m not sure I’ll be back for dinner, but might give it another chance for breakfast.

Stopped in for breakfast today. Canadian Bacon Eggs Benedict was delicious and satisfying. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the potatoes were reminiscent of the potatoes my dad made when I was a child. The menu items looked tasty and I look forward to trying them.

Wedge Salad, A delicious, crisp, iceberg Wedge Salad recipe topped with bacon and blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes and a creamy blue cheese dressing. Add grilled chopped lemon and herb chicken. It was the best taste.. it worth it.

Upon arrival Jen a sweet young lady greeted my party and seated us promptly. She was very polite. We were presented with menuda and our drink order was taken and then served very quickly, we ordered their Rock’n Lobster Roll. Compliments to the chef. I was transported to London’s Lobster and Burger s by the taste and quality of the Rock’n Lobster Roll. The manager Jacqueline was there making sure the service was wonderful and the food delicious. Thank you to the chef for allowing me and my guest to order from the dinner menu even though it was lunch service.

A super super super chic, low key, and Uber comfortable experience everytime. I sit at the bar with Frankie (the best bartender I’ve met in Palm Springs for his drinks and bravado service).
