We also offer egg and cheese sandwiches (no meat), fresh squeezed orange juice on weekends plus delicious Muffins, cookies and Babka.

This is hands down my favorite bagel shop. I usually get a mini or regular everything bagel with egg salad, and it never disappoints. I find myself looking forward to stopping by every time I’m in the area. I’m not someone who writes reviews often, but this place truly deserves it. If you haven’t tried their bagels and spreads yet, you’re missing out, they’re genuinely the best around.

The other day I ordered, Sonny’s Bagels, for breakfast. My total experience was fairly mid. The bagel was really tasty, and fresh. The servers were so kind and helpful as well too! The only caveat that GREATLY impacts my total score was the taste of the cream cheese. The best thing about a bagel with cream cheese, is the bagel with cream cheese. Their bagels are excellent, service is exceptional, but the choice of cream cheese spread that they use is severely lacking in flavor. If you love a great B w/ CC, I couldn’t highly recommend this place. But, Sonny’s Bagels, is great for a quick breakfast bite.

We stopped into this bagel shop on our way home from NYC, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Everything we ordered (bagels and 5 different cream cheese) was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The customer service was exceptional from the moment we walked in.
The owner went above and beyond, even making a special pizza bagel and bringing it out to my nieces. We ended up chatting about our weekend in the city, and the whole experience felt so warm and welcoming.
If you’re passing through, definitely make a stop here. Great food, amazing people!

That’s my second experience there and last, yes i say second because I wanted to make sure im right about their service, walked in and employees was having a conversation between them i stood there for a minute or 2 until one employee turned over and was like what you getting? I place my order then since it was a dozen bagels its like she was feeling tired by my choice by saying and then with a nasty attitude, while doing so another client walked in caucasian woman and she was greeted before she was fully inside of the store by two employees walking to her, smiling, taking her order of 3 everything bagels, and I started to laugh cause yes what happened the first time was correct but I went again to see if I was right and yes I was, so now I really see why my friends told me to support black businesses cause I never have a good experience going to the other race while I’m spending my money, I really needed to leave a review, then I walked out not even taking a receipt cause that was crazy, I needed to sit in my car for a few to digest what I lived, never again will I go to that place.

Good as always, is my favorite place in south orange to eat bagels! Today I went with the 2 kids that I take care and one of them decided he doesn’t like butter anymore when he ate the half of a bagel the man that I think is the owner gave him a new bagel with cream cheese ❤️ he made his day! I have been going to this place since I was a kid and hands down they have the best tasting/quality bagels. One thing I have noticed over the years is that the bagels are shrinking? I didn’t know a bagel knew how to do that lol. Definitely worth a try at least if you are in the area looking for some decent bagels though.

Sonny’s is a great place! I love their garlic bagel with lox cream cheese. There is a ton of lox in it. I appreciate how kind and quick staff is.

The girls working the counter were very friendly the place was spotless and the bagels were outstanding it is a kosher store so don’t expect any bacon or sandwiches with meat and cheese besides that little setback super delicious products and the staff were awesome you behave to have cream cheese and lox with tomatoes on a everything bagel will be going back on Saturday, give the staff a raise
