Went in today to test $6 Smash burger deal on App. $6 meal is an unbelievable value so I wanted to see if it is worth it. Inside, I was shocked to find the order windows closed and only 3 people working inside during the lunch rush hour! There were hardly anyone eating in the dining area and a few people came inside because the Pickup Stalls weren’t working and outside orders were taking too long. No wonder. You can’t run a fast food franchise with only 3 Crew members during busiest time of the day! Management of this location needs to rectify this situation immediately. Either they r inexperienced or there isn’t sufficient traffic to justify adding more people. I saw many order slips printing so I dont think it’s the latter. I saw some customers walk out in frustration after waiting a while to order because nobody inside would acknowledge their service request button! I feel bad for the small number of Crew working inside but their attitudes were similarly nonchalant and non-caring as if they are used to losing customers. So what came first? Loss of customers or reduction of employees? Maybe both. Regardless, it’s the Ownership’s job to save the business. At this rate, they might be heading for a business closure.
As for the food, the $6 Smash burger combo deal is simply THE BEST VALUE EVER that I’ve found in current inflationary environment. I don’t think anything can beat it. You get a decent sized double Smash patties + small fries + small drink. McD has $5 Value combos but their quality and taste can’t match the Sonic $6 promo. So even though the service and ordering are poor here, it’s worth using that deal “everyday” before it ends. Just use the drive thru so u don’t have to deal with the uncaring Crew. But expect some wait to get ur food.
I’m sad and perplexed to see how the Ownership is running down this business. They had too many employees at opening and now, they have bare minimum number of employees. Ultimately, this is the Ownership’s fault. (Jan. 2026)
Another visit to test consistency. They have markedly improved on all metrics – speed, service, quality, accuracy, friendliness, cleanliness. When I first visited them soon after Opening, it was a horrendous experience due to the Management’s poor planning. Getting the food took forever, orders were wrong, and Crew was inexperienced. Others have experienced the same pains so now the place is not crowded at all. I’ve made several more visits since then to check progress and I’m happy to report they’ve gotten so much better. I’m particularly impressed with their accuracy and friendliness because most fast food franchises fail on these areas. In terms of taste, they are on par with peers but food tend to be on the saltier side. Quality is consistent although my corn dog was a bit burnt. Price is a little higher than larger chains but u can sometimes find good deals on their app that makes Sonic meal a better value than BK or McD.
I recommend this location but do use the app deals because fast food prices have gone up too much for all the brands.
This is 2026 Sonic. Get with the program. We should be able to use our gift cards on the app.
I suggest to anyone interested, stay away from the app and stay away from gift cards from Sonic. if someone gifts you one say no thank you. This experience was a headache for me when I went into Sonic yesterday. (Order for Raul at about 4:45)

Girl with the headset ended up taking someone else’s order right after she saw me at the window. Thanks sonic.
They do not have their mini size at this location for shakes.
Their shakes are what they are known for.
Shake was a liquidity mess no thick consistency & did not taste like banana.
Honestly do not come to this location.
