Worst Sonic ever. We ordered in the app because nobody answered in the intercom. Drive through had a huge line. We waited 20+minutes for our food they gave my wife refried stale Fries and stale buns. My wife’s burger looked like it was smashed by a tractor, meat looked suspicious we took only 1 bite and put the rest in trash My burger was the same. Drinks were awful and didn’t taste good. If you are in Carlsbad on a visit avoid this place at all costs plenty good Mexican and American food around to enjoy.

Pulled into this sonic with a mobile order already placed, it said it would be ready by 12:24. So I got out of the car and went to the kiosk under the front cover most sonics have and waited for over 30 minutes until 12:54. I politely asked for a small fry in return for the wait, and they told me, “I’d have to place another order”. Then it took an extra 15 minutes to help one of the workers understand I needed a ranch. Not to mention I ordered a sprite and got root beer all while a Spanish-speaking employee mocked me. Expect a wait, this sonic is in dire need of new management and new employees.

Not coming here ever again, I’m not usually bothered by waiting a little in line cause I know working in fast food can be rough, but dear God, these other 1 star reviews aren’t exaggerating one bit.
I luckily just gave up after long enough, (also their card reader just straight up didn’t work) and went nextdoor and nearly instantly got what I wanted and was on my way.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while cleaning the yard and she’d, the service was crazy fast today. I did order on the app and picked it up very quickly. Service and food were great.

They are doing the best they can short staff, long wait, even when we ordered ahead. Four condoms took about 25 minutes to pickup, due to under staffed.

I’ve been to this location 3 times. Each time Ive ordered a drink. I’ve been disappointed. I’ve never waited less than 20 min to get my drink. The last 2 times I had to flag someone down to get my drink otherwise I would have waited even longer, I’m sure. I’ve given them 3 tries and they struck out. I will not ever be back here.
