I just had to leave a note to say how amazing the manager at this location was when we visited for lunch on 12/23/25! They ran out of the food we ordered, and she went above and beyond to replace our food with something better, and she gave us toys for our girls since we waited a few extra minutes. I wish I knew her name, but she was one of the nicest restaurant employees we’ve ever met! Thank you so much!!

There were 2 cars in the stall, and 2 cars in the drive thru. I waited at the speaker of the drive thru and was on my phone waiting for a few mins then realized all the cars in front of me were gone and still nobody said anything. i then waited another 5 mins and still nothing. after waiting that long i pulled to the window and they were all just talking not doing anything. After they saw me they finally started talking on the speaker. I’ve noticed it normally takes forever but this time really set me over the edge. MIND YOU I JUST GOT A LARGE DR PEPPER!!! If you got the time to wait go ahead if not don’t go

I go there for the happy hour drinks. They have good deals at that time. If you use the app to order, it is faster to go use the drive through windows to pick up.

Fast food is not quite fast, but! Fantastic service and quality of food. Waitted about 15 minutes in the drive though, only because a family of 5 was in front that wanted 55 burgers 55 fries 55 tacos and 55 pies.
Ive been plenty of times. This has been my only “bad” one, and it wasn’t even bad.

I waited over 15 minutes for my one combo meal. I had to call them and ask him where it was when I got it. It was cold so I know I’ve been sitting in the window. Don’t bother eating at the sonic this is the second time I’ve had a really bad experience.

I normally love sonic, I frequent the location in Golden Valley often and rarely have any problems, yet I come to this location and it’s like they never have anyone working who has any idea what they’re doing. I can’t say I remember any faces here either so maybe the turnover is just that bad but please it’s fast food it’s not that difficult to not undercook a fried chicken tender. Food was incredibly slow, almost 20 minutes for one medium slush and two tender wraps, I’m not sure who here hates their job enough to sink this whole location but whatever the issue is needs to be addressed internally. Don’t even bother responding with some corporate crap either about escalating the issue to management, if they cared the issues wouldn’t have persisted this long, please just close this location and let something else come in at this point

If your Doordash order gets stolen, the manager will refuse to remake it and won’t care, despite acknowledging the order was unassigned after being handed to the driver. Don’t order from here if you expect to get your order correctly, or even at all

I ordered a five piece chicken tender meal. The person at the drive-thru window almost forgot to give me my drink. When I got home, I realized they’d forgotten to give me my tots. The chicken was not good. A lot of gristle and a bit of cartilage.

Went to sonic yesterday evening because my kids wanted to try the new slush. Did an order online through the app which said it would be ready at 745 and showed up at 740 to check in. At 8 I was still waiting for my order. At 810 I asked to cancel my order because I needed to leave. I was told it would be ready. I was given these slushes missing ingredients (like the candy toppings and a pitiful amount of ice cream). The employees told me they were very short handed, which sucks for them and us, and I think they should suspend online/ app ordering until they can get that figured out so the consumer doesn’t have unrealistic expectations of when to receive 4 drinks. Drinks and food should also come with the advertised components. Giving 3 stars because it was still delicious and I could see the employees were very overwhelmed. Unfortunately, it’s not my first recent disappointment here. Last month my food also took a long time and was lukewarm. I hate leaving a negative review but I hate wasting money more.
