I’m sad to say this is a total shame to the “Sonic Drive-In” name!! I WILL NOT BE DINING THERE IN THE FUTURE!!!! The outside atmosphere is the iconic theme for the establishment, yet at this particular location, the table-seating for dining, is being used as a tie off spot for a poor helpless dog!!! Not only is it unsanitary, the poor dog has been left there every day for at least 4hrs at a time at 10am 2pm specifically (when I travel this route to and from work, and take my lunch in that area.)I used to eat at my favorite burger place, Sonic, but I now choose to take my business across the street to Sharp’s Burger Ranch or Pizza Hut and I sit in my car and watch this poor dog, just wishing I could enjoy a sonic burger like I used to!! But nope! It’s sad cause no one ever checks the poor dog and it’s SICKENING!! I have also been made aware that other co-workers will not eat there anymore either because of the poor dog!! This is a ONE STAR and a FAIL on management!!! Being Sonic Drive-in is franchise, I will not knock the SONIC name but it really makes me question if OWNERS is aware of this (along with many other management discrepancies) going unaddressed and overlooked… to the point of the public distaste in MANY eyes of Lewiston consumers! Please feel free to contact me here! I hope this is addressed in a timely manor!!!

It’s still fun to have the car hop experience! The food is good and the customization is incredible! Drinks, shakes and desert in general is always a good time! The chili cheese fries are to die for! We have never been disappointed here.

My husband and I quite frequently stop to get a snack while we are out running errands, usually it is a grilled cheese sandwich. Today we stopped around 12:30 and got 2 grilled cheese which are normally very good; today I guess the cheese was extra because both of us got almost nothing on. 2 pieces of toasted bread.

All I ordered was an extra crispy fry and when I asked to add one junior chili cheese burrito at the window (before I paid) she said I’m not able to change my order at the window and I would have to pull around. I then sat there waiting for my fries for 4 minutes then she walked 2 cars out their food and then came back and told me there was a mix up so it’s gonna be a wait on my fry. I’ve now been waiting for one fry for 9 minutes. Definitely could have made my one junior sized burrito without effecting your times.

I have always loved eating at Sonic. Delicious food, outdoor dining. What’s not to love?
Unfortunately, most of the Sonic’s near me have shut down. I have to drive over an hour to get to the closest one. However, my kid lives MUCH closer to this drive in, so we often stop in when I get my visits. I wish that was more often, but that’s something I will be dealing with soon.
I found out about 6 months ago that I’m diabetic, so I have to be more conscious of carbs when I eat. I’ve also been eating a much higher protein diet since then, resulting in me losing 70 lbs (50 since March).
Today I ordered a #4 jalapeno double cheeseburger with no buns and two extra patties. It arrived perfectly cooked and the fries were also spot on. Unfortunately, I didn’t know they served unsweetened tea until after I ordered my food, so I got a root beer. I got a tea for my refill though and it was delicious. I will have to remember that for next time.
Unfortunately, today there were a lot of flies out. There’s not much Sonic can do about that though, and it certainly isn’t their fault. That’s the downside of eating outdoors.
In short, would I recommend this location? Absolutely, and I will be eating there again.

Why was it slightly busy but these fries have been sitting for a while and are salted like there’s a damn snow storm in town. How did I get charged for extra bacon and that’s all I got. I mean I know it’s the valley but this location really needs to step up it’s service, fast food isn’t hard…

The dog that is tied up outside is not a helpless dog at all whatsoever. She is a seizure alert animal and is one of the employees service animals. The person who posted the false information about the dog and how coworkers won’t eat there because of the poor dog is false. She is absolutely lying. Every employee there loves having the dog around. She has plenty of water while she is there and food. I really wish people would not post false information.

Found a clump wrapped with hair in my slushy at 9:20pm on Friday April 2nd. Jade brought it out to my car not sure who made it. I feel completely violated. Will never come back. Disgusted. Wish I could add photos.
