Honestly the food at this Sonic location was great – the burger was tasty, grilled cheese hot, and the fries crunchy. Our dirty ocean water was delicious too. Unfortunately, we had to wait a surprisingly long time at the drive through for any acknowledgement and we ultimately never received the chicken we ordered and paid for. 4/5 food but 2/5 service for a 3/5 rating overall.

Order took a minute and some blonde chick was hanging her butt out the drive through window so she could vape. They clearly took the food out of the fryer early. All of our food was cold by the time we got to our hotel 5 minutes away.

Very unique experience at this sonic drive through. not every sonic has a drive through some just have the pullin spots. I came in with high hopes looking for a grilled cheese.
When the man told me that all of the food was not being served and all the grills were turned off. My heart melted like a little boy’s in the heart of the Sahara With no water to drink And no oasis in sight. Luckily the drink machines worked. Should I scream! When I asked if I could have a cherry? They gave us a whole bucket. I feel like they are tried to compete for something. But that’s o k it’s all the same to me cheers sonic!

Today (9/28/24) I ordered a foot long cony with onions, 5 piece chicken tender meal, 2 bacon burgers and a medium mozzarella sticks. There was no onions on the cony, the fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting for a while, I only received 3/5 of my chicken tenders and the cheese in my Mozzarella were cold and the breading tasted almost tacky and old. The service was very fast but I would prefer fresh food and my order correct than such quick service. I also asked for my Receipt and my server never came back out to give me my receipt.

Don’t come here unless you have time to waste. My lord, everytime we have this issue. 10 minutes for two drinks. 15 minute wait for a coney hot dog. The first time, I get it, but the 8th time, and its everytime? Come on guys.

Given this was 30 minutes before closing we understand the stress of having last minute orders, but we ordered a number two, a couple cheeseburgers, onion rings mozzarella stick, and a couple drinks, the server was flirting with a co-worker and not even paying attention to our food, she forgot my girlfriend’s drink and onion rings. Will not be coming back.

I love spending my hard earned money on 2 burnt pretzel twists, a slushy which was mostly syrup and a strawberry lemonade that was missing an inch of drink. This is a recurring problem at all restaurants, not just fast food. These people want 20 bucks an hour but they can’t even give out quality food or service.
**Went again tonight. Ordered the 6 dollar smasher meal through the app. Asked for no cheese, got cheese. Asked for 3 packets of ketchup, got no ketchup. The tots were cold and stale at the same time. And I didn’t get any napkins. I even tipped ahead of time, which is so lame to expect on fast food. I didn’t want to cook for one tonight, but now wishing I did.

I hope the Sonic Franchise in Kayenta Arizona buys out cortez and durango sonics.
So many problems with both locations it is amazing they are even profitable
They Messed up multiple orders of mine and im tired of sonic not accepting responsibility.
The owners of both of these sonics should be embarrassed and quite frankly should not deserve to be working in fast food industry. And people wonder why everyone else like mum and pop shops hate these multinational conglomerates. It’s because they create a very bad reputations for the food industry

Don’t know who is making drinks today, but get it together SONIC!!!! I should never have to have my drink remade 3 times and still not leave with a fruited dragon slush. It’s one of your own drinks, it’s not like I made it up. Teach your employees how to make your own signature drinks. I mean how could you order a slush and get a soda with ice???? Not even close!!
