We usually have great experiences here at this 52nd Street location. Today was horrible! I brought my 2 year old grandson and was ready to enjoy good hot food. Ordered a Smasher, tater tots, hotdog, kids burger and fries with 2 drinks.
Kids fries were HARD! Poured them out and they were ALL the same. The tater tots were warm at best and tasted awful.
Sent them back for new ones. They brought out new one and mentioned that the fry oil needed to be changed and they hoped these were better.
While waiting for the tots and fries I checked the kids burger. I ordered it with mustard, cheese, and pickles and got ketchup, mustard, no cheese but… I also came with yellow thread, yes string!
I thought it might be from the end of the pickle (a piece of the vine) but as I tried to tear it, it didn’t tear. I looked at it closer and it was 3 pieces of string.
I sent that burger back as well and it did come back as ordered originally, but it was extremely well done. We didn’t even try to eat it. Just threw it away.
Totally disappointed, should have gone to Texas Burger instead.
One positive is the Smasher burger was good and the hotdog plain and dry was good. The drinks were good, but overall, a total disaster.
Management and upper management truly need to be more involved and possibly some retraining needed.
Not sure if the manager was the one to come out and ask what the issues were, but if she was, she looked to be 18-20 years old.

Horrible horrible sonic. We ordered 3 large cokes and it took them 35 minutes to get our drinks to us. When we asked to speak to a manager she was just as horrible and rude as the dude that finally brought us our drinks. The manager started yelling at my husband saying we’re busy and if you wanted to come to work for us you can make your own drinks next time… I love sonic but after this experience we’ll just start going somewhere else.

I just went right now. Little girl asked what can I help you with I told her 2 leg sprite with bobba she gave me my total 8.xx we waited 10 mins and no drinks and nothing showed up on the screen. So I pushed the button she picked up and didn’t say anything till she heard me say I’ll call the manger on the morning then she magically pick up. She then told me she didn’t have any bobba. I was mad waited for nothing. As I stated to back up she said oh we have some. I just drove away!!! . Ma’am I’m tired I didn’t want to sit and wait to see if you wanted to sell me something or not.

TERRIBLE PLACE TO GO!!!! Im honestly so so disappointed by them I waited 45 minutes for two drinks after I ordered I sat there and I sat there for a while and I bring the belt in again and apparently they hid forgotten that I ordered and I saw them laughing the whole time through the windows. And they said that they would bring it back out as long as I didn’t give him a bad review so I said fine and sat there for another 5 minutes again they forgot. As I sat there for about nearly an hour entirely waiting for just two drinks it was a youngster laughing in there I’m not sure who she is but she sounded young and kept ignoring my request.

Ordered the #1 Smasher burger w/ tater tots and drink. Got fries, called back to get tater-tots, got fries again. Finally, got the attention of our server, she is getting us tater-tots. She said they were making some, as they didn’t have any when we ordered. So, they substituted without notification.

Disappointed. I came and ordered and even pre-tipped them with my card. Not only did they take forever with my order but they forgot my drinks (2 coke zeroes) and no ketchup packets in my bag even after I specifically asked for the ketchup on the side. I was already so frustrated to even notice she didn’t give me my drinks because i also had 2 milkshakes…that I didn’t mention it then and there. I just left and probably won’t consider this location again in the future.

Pulled up, pushed the button, waited over 5 mins then moved to another one. They were out of motz sticks, out of tater tots. I ordered kids meals with chick tenders and they went straight into the trash, my kids couldn’t even eat them or the fries because they were sitting under heat lamps, burnt and hard as a rock! The trash that these fast food places in Odessa have become!

Worse sonic i have ever been to order a mobile order i get there and check in and waited 20 minutes another car pulled up got there order right away had to ask the car hopper about my food finally got food 50 dollars worth and everything was cold I was there on time and checked in just to get horrible food I asked for no onions on all burger every one of them had onion burgers where made sloppy the amount of mayo and ketchup yall put on them is way to much it show the cooks dnt like cooking

This WAS my favorite location until today. I ordered 2 double cheeseburger with only meat and cheese dry and a jr one the same way and received them all without cheese, and I ordered cinna snacks and they were raw along with old fries. I was in no hurry and told them I would wait for fresh fries too, but that didn’t seem to matter. When I got home I called asking to speak with the manager on duty and was hung up not once but THREE TIMES, and out of those three times I spoke with two different people so either the manager wasn’t taking calls or wasn’t on duty, SO I THOUGHT. However when I waited 40 mins and called back and didn’t ask for a manger a nice gentleman told me if I brought the cinna snacks back they’d cook them right and I ask if they had a manger on duty at that time and he told me they in fact did and her name was Alyssa. This location is unprofessional, It’s crazy that if there is a mess up management is off hiding or you have employees who can just act in this manner.
