Unfortunately, our order of Chili Cheese tots seemed sad looking; little to no chili, and very few tots.
I had raised our concern to the young man, and he was kind and apologized and stated he would get it taken care of.
About a minute later, a lady, who I assumed was the manager on duty, walked to our vehicle seemingly rushed (even though there were only a few vehicles in the parking lot).
She explained that the portion size for a large chili cheese tot was 26 tots, whereas what I had received was 23. She said that she added 3 tots to our portion, and handed it to me. I was taken aback at her rushed response to the situation, and her solution. Before I could respond, she walked off.
I understand the portion control, and I appreciate the explanation.
I, however, do not appreciate being treated as an inconvenience. Last I checked, my wife and I paid our hard earned money, for a service that we felt was lacking.
We are incredibly grateful for the young man who provided wonderful service, and for the cooks who made our experience tasteful. We are not satisfied with the pitiful reaction of the manager, who made it seem as though we were not worthy of their attention and service.
We apologize for not being able to provide photo evidence.
At the end of the day, this is fast food. This experience doesn’t ruin us for Sonic, or even the people. I get that days are rough at times, and that situations vary. My wife and I actually worked at this location for about two years in highschool! Believe me, we understand. We don’t expect King like service, but a bit of respect would be appreciated.
We won’t be coming back to this location.
But this location has to work on making better food and making the food how it is supposed to be made. A bacon cheeseburger should have more than half a piece of bacon on it. A sundae should me more than a quarter full. Ask for a cherry dr pepper, get no cherry. These are things that didn’t just happen on one visit, it is consistently like this
1 Star for food based on the attached picture: what is that, like 1/32 of a lime? That’s the portion for a large drink.
1 Star for atmosphere due to the multiple cat boxes nearby and the sand playground that has become their litter box.
They complain about being short staffed or other things well gire more people and take care of your employees. Last time I come here not even worth the drink anymore
