After Mr Chase who is the general manager at that had explained the situation I apologize if I had come off in any sort of way he thanked me for being so understanding and I thanked him for being so corrective and what was actually going on.
But another reason why I’m sending a positive reinforcement review for this individual is because not only was he very respectful very understanding and very silent toned and not aggressive in any sort of way. But he handled the situation like a gentleman and like an adult and to be a general manager of an establishment and only 19 years old speaks volumes in what generations before ours have done and like I told him that people that are even in their thirties have not even made a successful move like that. So if you get the chance and if you’re in the Georgetown location and you happen to go over to the Sonic on Williams drive and you see Chase then let him know that he’s doing a good job.
The breading was crispy and thick and I almost didn’t even find any chicken. I expected a juicy chicken breast and got I don’t know what the thin piece of chicken covered in breading.
I have learned my lesson, don’t trust a great burger place with a chicken breast sandwich. The fries were of course great so it wasn’t a total waste.
Now I get it—sometimes people have off days. But when I went to pay with cash, I hadn’t even had a chance to hand it over when the waitress literally hit me with, “Thanks for no tip.” Ma’am, I still had the money in my hand! That’s like yelling “thanks for not marrying me” while someone’s getting down on one knee. Give a guy a second.
I left feeling like I just got passive-aggressively scammed by both the shake and the staff. My girlfriend and I laughed it off, but if you’re looking for a place with solid customer service and shakes that actually match their names, maybe keep driving. Preferably until you find a place where the workers don’t roast you for using cash like it’s 1997.
