I went in with my grandkids and had such a wonderful experience everyone was upbeat cheerful in a positive mind frame. I greatly appreciate the customer service I received yesterday. Greg was awesome and delivered our food hot n fresh and made to order. Awesome time at my local Sonic!! Only downside you can’t tip when you pay with a Card which was a downing because everyone was deserving of a tip. Next time I know to bring cash. Hopefully they can change the system to where the car hops can make their tip money.

Practically every parking space has a sign that says Out of Order. They either have broken screens or broken speakers & microphones. I had to pull in to 5 places before I could find one that was working. I ordered 2 Blasts and they took forever, but I was patient since I wasn’t in a hurry. When the gentleman came to the car to bring our desserts one of them was made wrong, but since it had taken so long, was a larger size and flavor than I ordered and paid for, I just decided to keep it. This location is always a disappointment. Honestly, it needs a new GM because they are in such a great location!

My father stopped by this location to order a regular chili cheese coney with onions. Sharnise read back his order correctly but still charged him for an extra long cheese coney and without any onions. One side of the hotdog looks bitten. The “chili” looks like it was scraped off. I called to speak to the manager and his idea of a solution is to have us drive 30 minutes back to the location to return the sorry excuse of a hotdog. When I explained that, that is not an option he said there’s nothing he could do

This location needs a serious update. It has fallen below the sonic standards. It looks terrible, and the stalls rarely work like they’re supposed to. The staff are somewhat friendly, but you can tell that they’re overworked and underpaid. The property is run down and not well kept. I don’t think the building has seen an update in years. Atleast pressure wash it, so it doesn’t look so bad.
The food is edible but not something I’d go out of my way for. I understand that this is probably a franchise location, but you’d think that the owners would want their investment to look good and make customers feel good. Being on the I35, I think you owe it to yourself to clean this place up and staff this place the way it should be.

Not every place is on point every time, but for spending a decent amount of cash and a nice tip, I gotta say I’m going to avoid this place. Tots and fries were cold and hard as if fried twice and left to chill. They didn’t taste right either. You can tell the oil needs to be changed because the aftertaste was old, sour, and burnt. Lastly, the chocolate shake was gray, unlike the normal brown color, and it was runny and tasted like old chocolate. Also, there was a hair in it so that was nice. Couldn’t finish our meals had to toss it.

I have ordered from here a lot. And this is a first for me. The drinks have been on point but the food not so much. They forgot the fries and my order wasn’t done correctly which told the kids to wipe it off. While waiting for the fries another persons order was wrong. And 6 people left bc of the wait time. Drive Thur was closed. And I get home to eat and my effing hotdog was frozen and my popcorn chicken was hard barely and chicken more crumbs than anything. I think me ordering hotdogs or food in general from y’all is off the agenda for now

Not a good sign when this place is empty at lunch time. After trying 2 different stalls, I was not about to try a 3rd one that probably didn’t work. I left! Why are sonics in San Antonio so DUMPY? Corporate needs to revoke your franchise licenses!!!

I’ve loved Sonic my whole life, it’s always been my favorite fast food place, but every time I visit this location it’s a nightmare and it’s sucks because it’s the only one near my house, but I’m going to just have to suffer the longer drive to avoid this horrible location. This is the third time I show up where they are busy and just stop answering their drive thru all together. I waited 15 minutes and went to 3 different stations before I got a response. On top of that when they finally answer they treat the customer like they are are annoyance. Every word that drags out of the employees mouth of the speaker screams “I don’t want to be here.” It is made worse that half of their stations are out of order, leaving us customers to fight for the other half. They don’t even mark them as out of order so their parking lot ends up looking like a car based game of music chairs. Sonic is great but this location is the worst one I’ve ever been to, perhaps the worst Sonic period. The manager really should be repremanded for allowing this whole store to run at minimum functionality for so long. It’s not that hard to reach out to corporate and let them know things are broken and you need assistance. Take a management course or something, these are day one problems every new manager learns how to take care of.
