As most do, we make our food order, pay, get food, and go. I did the same, and the staff did more. I asked for corn dogs. The gentleman whom was serving me told me that he wanted to get me corn dogs that were more fresh and told me it would be a bit longer. It was actually faster than I thought it would be and, yes, the corn dogs were great. Good food and good service.

Today during lunch I waited 40 minutes for my order.

At first, I couldn’t place an order because no one responded for a long time when I pressed the red button. After that, I ordered food through the app. Even though the app said the wait time would be 6 minutes, I still had to wait about 30 minutes.
This was extremely frustrating and unacceptably long. I don’t understand why the service here is so slow and difficult.

Could you please help look into this issue?

Well tonight we had the worst service I think I’ve had at a Sonic, and I usually like Sonic! First it took a while for them to take our order (understandable, things can get busy). Then when we got to the window it took at least 10 minutes to get our order. My husband had confirmed twice that he wanted a shake with M&M’s and Oreos (when he placed the order and when we were paying and they repeated our order incorrectly). When we got our order his shake didn’t appear to have M&M’s (I suggested that maybe they were further down, so he checked and still didn’t see any), both of our cups were very messy on the outside and dripping down the sides, she only gave us one straw and one spoon and no napkins. She had already walked away by the time we realized this so we waited for someone to come back so we could ask for those things. We waited another 2-3 minutes for that (all of this time there was a girl sitting in full view of the window playing on her phone). When the lady finally came back and we told her what we needed (kindly, we weren’t rude at all, mistakes happen!) she was rude, insisted that there were M&M’s and had MAJOR rude attitude about the whole thing. On top of all of that we were very short changed with how much was in the shake (I’ve attached pictures.) We didn’t even address that part. it probably sounds like I’m being picky but all of these things combined with the fact that the African American, middle aged, woman “helping” us didn’t care at all about making us happy made for an awful experience. She concluded our service with an eye roll and a “mmmmmm” of annoyance.

Food was good, service was good. Price was totally out of line. 2 small chili cheese tots.(12-15 in each), 2 small strawberry milkshakes. $21.00. It is absolutely absurd to pay these high prices for what you get. My days of all fast food are finished.

For the 3rd time, we tried to order food from Sonic on Sidney Baker Street. All three times (over the course of a year, trying to give them another chance), we tried again today. Pulled into stall and pushed the red button. A message saying someone would be with us shortly appeared on the screen. 5 minutes, no response. We were one of 3 cars there. We watched one customer give up and drive off. Pushed the button again. 5 minutes, no response. We made decision to never offer Sonic our money again. When we were driving off, we noticed at least 10 stalls showing the red buttons on. What is the issue? I do not understand how this location is still in business. Why be open if you’re not going to wait on customers?! Did not see any employees anywhere. Absolutely worse Sonic we’ve ever been to. Never again.

Could not even make my coney with mustard and onions! And when I asked them to take it back and make me one they said sorry we are too busy and gave me some on the side. This would be okay from the git but it took forever and my food is cold. Really how long would it take to make a hotdog lmao. Just super poor management here, server was polite.

35+ minutes for a slushie, a dr. Pepper and a Jr. frito wrap is insane. I placed an order before arriving and I just ended up leaving after waiting for so long. It wasn’t worth the wait and I didn’t see any employees working. Everyone else was leaving too even new people trying to order because no one answered when the button was pressed. AVOID!!! DONT GO HERE!!!!

3/27/2025 I placed an order for a tender wrap among other items. The wrap came out hot and fast however, the tender inside of it was just not a very good tender. I spoke with Isaac, who quickly rectified the situation. Got me a fresh wrap and also gifted me a hot fudge sundae! Thank you so much, Isaac!
