Haven’t been to Sonic in a while. Decided to stop at this one for lunch today. I order a 5 piece chicken strip with a drink. We’ll I just thought it was implied the dinner. I got just the chicken strip and drink, to which the intial server girl was very nice. I buzzed and told the attendant I messed up and wanted the dinner and that I would pay for the difference. She was short in response and cut the speaker off. She brings the rest out and I apologized for not realizing they only sell a 5 piece tender alone. She felt the need to tell me in a very smart ass tone say “Yea, well its called a dinner.” There was no need to be smart ass about it when I apologized and offered to pay for it.

I’ve decided to edit my review because I’ve been reading others and keep see the responses coming in from “Sonic”. Instead of apologizing to everyone, why not actually fix the problem or shut it down?
The drinks taste like chlorine water, regardless of how much flavor they add.
Food items are always missing from the order, staff is rude, food is not prepared correctly and people are getting sick.
I come here once a month because my kids like it, but I regret it each time. I keep hoping it will change.
When I worked at the one in Austin, we would get shut down for half of this stuff. Send higher-ups in for training purposes. Not from Victoria, from the top sonic in the nation. Invest some money in these small town businesses and get the food and the employees up to par. Just because you have people that live in a small town doesn’t mean that they should be treated any less than the customers at your top store. The food should be the same quality and prepared correctly.
I know because of covid and everything else that’s going on in the world right now, there is a shortage on employees but perhaps if the pay was a little bit better or there were more opportunities for growth within the company, we wouldn’t be seeing such a huge overturn and poor quality all around.

I travel this area often. Food is always fresh and hot. Customer service is great. Ordering and the lady couldn’t hear me. She came out to the car to get my order. I won’t eat at my local Sonic. Food always seems pre cooked and barely warm. Yoakum Sonic takes the time to cook your order.

I went through the drive thru and has been sitting waiting to order for the past 10-15 minutes and still no one answering, I had to go to the stall to order. It would have been nice of them saying this “can you hold for a few? We are currently swamped.” Would have been nice through the com instead of taking care the other car in drive thru but not me for 10-15 mins. Needs better customer service.

Hello, I usually don’t post negative reviews, but this experience was truly ridiculous. The hot dog arrived ice cold, and the vanilla Dr Pepper was not vanilla at all. To top it off, the car hop was extremely rude, and there was a strong musty smell in the air.
