The First staff lady that serves us was very friendly. They forgot my large fry. (No big deal) I asked for it nicely and the other lady I asked had an unpleasant look on her face. I then was brought this out (see attachments). An extremely small amount of fries in a bag. Then ask kindly if this was a large fry and they said we are out of boxes and had to put them in a bag. (Didn’t really answer my question). Also ordered a large popcorn chicken and portion was a lot smaller than at other Sonics. Finally the straw that broke the camels back is I ordered a large drink with light ice and they filled it full of ice. I then asked for a refill and they do not give free refills even though a large drink costs over $2 (I am not from this area so I’m glad I do not have to come back). Overall I do not recommend this sonic.

Sadly I have had multiple issues with this sonic if you make a big order. I have had food missing on multiple occasions and they usually take care of it when you come back. But today we order breakfast burritos that were not even half full. We basically got tortillas… this location is just going downhill. Go elsewhere to actually get your moneys worth.

Decades ago when Sonic first came to Rusk I was happy because we had so few options.
Over the years I have eaten at Sonic numerous times. It very quickly became the restaurant of last resort but I would be willing to eat a grilled cheese sandwich or corn dog especially if they were on sale
As the prices have risen and the service has declined ever further it became one of those places that the only reason you ever stopped is because you were just simply so hungry that you needed something to eat
This will probably be the last time I spend my money at such an awful restaurant. I tried their smashburger and was exceedingly disappointed
Because almost all of the food at Sonic is fried in the same fryer what you end up getting is corn dogs that tastes like mozzarella sticks that taste like french fries it tastes like tater tots that taste like onion rings
The fact that I didn’t like the smashburger was simply one of personal taste the fact that they’ve gone from regular fries to those crinkle cut pieces of garbage that’s just an excusable.
the people that took the order over the intercom and the people that answer the phone and the people that bring the food out are genuine are generally absolutely lacking in personality and treat you as if you have inconvenienced them tremendously by stopping and getting food and thus providing a job for them
I always tip generously but as I won’t be stopping anymore I guess that that won’t make any difference
This time the food was so bad that I was actually going to complain which I never have before
I drove around to the window to hand them that burger with only one bite missing and to explain to them that that was really subpar and that they needed to up their game
Of course they would look at me through the window but they wouldn’t come to the window as I hadn’t stopped by the order board and given an actual order
I ended up simply dropping the burger outside of their drive-thru window which is something I don’t do as I have never littered in my life
I called to tell them that I had left that disgusting Burger on their premises and that they needed to up their game as far as food went because they are serving garbage to customers and they were doing it in a very rude manner
Of course when I answered the phone it was Sonic. Not good afternoon thank you for calling Sonic may I have your order?
It was the same when I had given my order at the kiosk it wasn’t hi good afternoon welcome to Sonic may I take your order please? It was just Sonic
I left their garbage at their window and went down the road to Whataburger and got a really good hamburger for the price

Not worth our time. The employee was to busy on her phone, and we were the only vehicle there. We had to drive around to the drive-thru window and watch her, and she finally looked up when we honked the horn. Why are the widows blocked where you can’t see in? We just drove off and absolutely will not go back!

I am not recommending them one bit. I took my granddaughter’s for some chicken tenders today. The five piece meal. Not only were they overcooked, but these tenders were thumb size. Very disappointing. Oh. We didn’t get any dipping sauce to go with them. either. No more sonic for us.

My family and I stopped after church for a snack and ice cream. We had to repeat our order 5 times before it was right. We pull to the window and a lady took my card then gave us the ice cream. Several minutes later she came back to the window and asked us to pull up. I said ma’am either I need to get the money back for the food or I need you to put ice cream in the freezer. She rudely told me she had just made them. I again said ma’am our ice cream is melting because the ac went out yesterday and it’s hot in this car she snatched the ice cream back from my wife and slammed the windows. I work to hard for my money to be wasted so I definitely will be going to DQ from now on. Is there such a thing as customer service anymore. I won’t be wasting my money in this establishment anymore and I will let my friends know to

I’ll start in saying the service was stellar. We appreciate the server’s. The food was about the worst ever we had from anywhere. The bun burt the chicken over cooked. I can’t imagine ever tying Sonic soak

Ok I went here and ordered mozzarella sticks. The food was delivered and it was truly disappointing. There was no mozzarella in 3 out of 4 of the sticks. I just had the crust. Very disappointed. I’ve been here before and it was ok but this was the worst. I just needed something to drink and thought I’d get a little something to nibble on. I couldn’t wait to drive to Jacksonville. I should have waited. Jacksonville is much better.
