So me and the family were heading back home from a little road trip to the city and that was moment I seen the lights..as if we’re a beacon of hope! And In this day and age of so many inconsistencies, I have to rave about this Sonic! Not only was the juicy, delicious Smash Burger Meal for 6$ bucks freaking AMAZING the service was a GRAND SLAM! Thank you to the night crew holding it down and showing how it’s SUPPOSED to be done!

Over the last 3 months the service at this location has been so disappointing that I’m still not sure if the individuals who work here are holding a grudge whenever they see I place an app order. You may wonder why keep coming back? Well you get half priced drinks anytime on the app.. I’m gonna come back and hope it’s better every time. I also get my order from the car hop with ice cream and soda all over the cups, which is fine but they then immediately turn around and don’t provide napkins. Today I just want an ocean water with vanilla and sweet cream. There are 3 occupied stalls total at the location. I place my app order, receive my drink from the carhop Ashley, and the drink order is incorrect, my drink is a mess, and again.. no napkin as the carhop runs away, I mean genuinely I’m perplexed by the service here lately, that’s why I had to make this review.

The food was terrible, the onion rings tasted horrible like old grease and the fish sandwich nothing but but dry and hard. The hot dog chili was burnt and was lousy, I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to no one.

Food order was very wrong, even after the order was repeated and shown on the screen. Two # 3 combos with extra onions, tots, and drinks. Order was brought out and only one combo and an extra burger arrived. Told the carhop and someone else came out with the receipt and said they could make this right, but since I paid with a card, the order would have to be refunded and then the card be ran again? Why? Just go back and get the tots and Dr. Pepper that was missing. Was told that could not be done and we would have had to pay that again. We were pretty upset at this time and told them to refund the card and they can have the food that was brought out originally back. Got the refund and then left and visited Braums across the street for our meals.
What I do not understand is how the order was repeated exactly how it was ordered and even showed on the screen, but totally wrong when it got to our car? Will not be eating at this Sonic for a while.

They used to have amazing chilli cheese dogs but the last few times I went the chilli cheese dog had like two slivers of cheese. What’s a chili cheese dog without cheese? Probably new management.

Sonic used to be one of my go-to spots, but lately it’s been a bit disappointing. First off, they no longer offer malts, which was one of my favorite treats—definitely a letdown. On top of that, the credit card readers are almost always down or glitching, which makes paying more frustrating than it should be. And if you’re ordering a cherry limeade, don’t count on getting the cherry—more often than not, it’s missing. The food and drinks are still decent when everything works, but the overall experience just isn’t what it used to be.
