Editing this review, I’ve had better and worse experiences with different Sonics. I should commend this particular location on their improvements. Service has always been friendly, maybe faster at times. Of course “fast” food isn’t always good food. This locations food is better than others especially the ones in Jonesboro and Blytheville by far. I guess my biggest complaint lately would be that milkshakes are sometimes not as frozen as I’d prefer. Manila Sonic had a lackluster stretch, but has greatly improved.

After dozens of times going to this sonic, I’m done. They forgot some of my food I ordered several times, put way too much ice in drinks when I specifically said easy ice, and their tea Is either too sweet or tastes like unsweet half the time.

Waiting 10 mins to get someone to take our order. Had to move to a different just so they would take our order. Seen several people on their phones or eating their ice cream. All while people are waiting for someone to take our order.

I’ve lived here in Manila for 3 months and this was my first time visiting this establishment….. it’s the epitome of the small town hang out….. cars full of young guys and girls, coming and going, laffing, everyone hollering from car to car, the atmosphere was great.
The food was delicious, fresh and fast.

Worst Sonic around, majority of the workers are to busy playing or outside talking to their friends. 9x of 10 the order is wrong or they forget to do your order . I’m all for kids working but when the majority isn’t working and having recess it’s bs. They’re paid to do their job ! Maybe bulldoze that place down and put something else.

Manila Sonic is hit or miss. Staff have always been very friendly. We stopped on a Saturday morning for breakfast burritos. The eggs were so overcooked that the burritos were not edible. $10 wasted. This use to be the best Sonic in Mississippi County. I’m not sure what happened.

The restaurant has really gone down hill. The burgers are almost always dry now, the prices are high and the service is crazy slow. I pull in the lot this morning at 7:01 only 2 other cars on the entire lot. I was in a hurry and ordered something small, 2 junior breakfast burritos. I waited on my order as 3 other cars pulled in, parked and were served ahead of me. I understand some people use the app to order ahead. At about 7:06 someone came out and asked what I ordered! At about 7:10 we finally received out food and were able to leave. Almost 10 minds for 2 junior breakfast burritos, with no one else there! That’s ridiculous.

Exactly what a sonic is in everyone’s mind. If you can get the food made fresh (like any fast food place struggles to do consistently), it is amazing! But old cheesesticks and burger patties that have sat too long tank the review.
