The only saving grace of this sonic are the hella overworked car hops. I ordered online and didn’t get half of my order. I waited for 30 minutes after getting in the drive through window line for the CAR HOPS to answer me at the window and they were the only redeeming part. Only 3 girls working with a full lot and no one was running the window they had too run the window by themselves, as well as make drinks, and run food. Saddest excuse for a sonic ive seen in a while. Severely overworked employees and no manager was even available to speak too. Will NOT be back. You will see at the Gee street location from now on.

The young lady that took my order was pleasant and took the order like every other time I visit but when the food arrived the carhop said it was cash only. I suggested that they really need to say something when taking the orders. I had to drive to a near by Walmart go inside to purchase an item in order to get cash back. I returned and asked that the manager put a small discount on my order since they had neglected to prewarn me of the need for cash and my fresh food was now under a warmer. The carhop said no they couldn’t do anything about it and I asked to speak to the manager as my sister is a co partner and they are usually good about making things right. The manager came out and said they aren’t giving discounts today because of the card reader being down and I nicely explained that the young lady didn’t inform me of this when taking my order and explained the ordeal I had to go through to finally return for my order. She became defensive and said that she was listening to the girl the whole time taking orders and she was telling everyone. I assured her that she didn’t in this case and she started to try to speak over me and argue. I stopped engaging with her and left. By the time I got home which is just a few mins from the store our food was cold and the order was incorrect as well. I will no longer use this location.

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but my experience with the Sonics in Jonesboro today has been negative and this one sealed the deal. 2 stars on Google mean i disliked it and that is true. However, I’m going to be nice and give it 3 star, that’s “it’s ok”, since i have been here before and never left a review. The other times i have been here, i have had a lengthy wait also, so that’s not new but today the wait was exceptionally long!

This is probably the nicest Sonic in town. The service is quick and the staff is usually friendly. They offer order ahead via the Sonic app and drinks are always half price through the app. This Sonic also offers a drive-thru if you don’t want to park in a stand or are in a hurry. Overall, not a bad fast food restaurant.
