No carhop service, probably due to the physical state of the coverd spaces.
Next, the food…. A burnt chicken sandwich. I could taste the charred surface of the chicken. It was absolutely disgusting. The tots….soggy and oddly chewy…similar to gum almost. Next…the long wait. I was the only one in the drive thru.
Really what gives. Its one thing to have a location that appears to be run down a bit. However, couple that with the slow service and horrendous state of my food speaks miles for staff, both floor and management.
They only thing that was spot on was the cherry-limeade.
Last.. no recipt for my purchase.
( I though it was inside the bag)
To the owner. Please save your store.
The blonde girl working there needs a serious attitude adjustment and as a business owner myself, I would NEVER allow someone with that attitude near my business.
Called the police on me because they did not give me my coke that I paid for. When I parked and went to the door for it, I was greeted with eye rolls and poor comments. I asked her if she wanted to do that again and she said “what are you going to do about it”. When I went to move my car because where I was parked was blocking people and I returned to the door to get my drink, I was approached with “you’re tresspassing and I’m on the phone with the cops”. That being said I still did not have my coke and wanted to wait for the cops so that I was not reported and claimed to be running from the situation.
She was also being rude and hateful to an employee because the girl went to use the restroom and told her she had to leave for the day. WOW!
According to the Iowa police department this is a common occurrence with this young girl!
That being said, a disrespectful teenager has put a ban on me from returning to the Iowa sonic. INSANE, but the police told me Arbys has some pretty good cheese sticks and good customer service!
Last night we went to sonic got an oreo blast. Look at the pictures, we ordered large but the blast did not even come close to the top that clear plastic thing was a waste.
Sonic you may not being increasing prices but you are skimping on the servings. Shame on yall.
3/2/23 ordered online easy, picked up order, ordered onion rings, the bag literally had 5 rings and it was a large order and let’s call it extra crispy. Again Sonic you disappointed us again. Am lowering my rating.
6/1/23
Ordered on line, gave them 30 minutes to prepare now I know I’m not their only customer but I drive up at my appointed time to wait 15 minutes for girl to come out and tell me they were out again on an item we ordered, asked what I would like to substitute, then had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes for it to be cooked. I want to support our local business but it’s getting harder to do.
Manager on Duty absolutely rude. Immediately defensive and argumentative when addressing concern for the food I had issues with. I was literally given a handful of pieces of nothing but breading. Regional Manager notified. Complaint filed. Retraining in customer relations seems necessary.
