Two visits, two days, and two disappointments. First evening I walked from my hotel room and order the #2 without pickles and tomatoes with a side of onion rings. Upon returning to my room and unloading the contents of the brown paper bag I realized my onion rings were burnt to a crisp and rendered inedible. Day two I came at a different time believing the help would be more likely to complete a satisfactory order since it wasn’t near closing time. Wrong! I ordered the same order as the previous day but asked for a large order of onion rings. I explained to the cashier that my previous order was burnt and ask them to make them without burning them. The rings weren’t burnt but the onion ring sack was 1/3 full (comparative to a small order) and my burger was made with a large stack of pickles. This might be the worst Sonic in existence and I imagine the competition is steep. If you’re passing through continue traveling to the next towns for better options. If you are staying in town for displeasure well then good luck. Three more days left in this town and I don’t know how much more good money I can throw at subpar food. At this point a pimento loaf sandwich would be more satisfying.

The Sonic in Phillipsburg Kansas is the worst Sonic I’ve ever been to. Extremely poor service. Wait times are ridiculously long. Our order is wrong 9 times out of 10. The staff are to busy bantering in the kitchen instead of serving their customers. Food has been cold a few times that we’ve came here. The outdoor stalls have never worked since ive been working out here in this town… that’s been 4 months ago. They are often out of food items and their card machine crashes all the time. I’ve never seen such a dysfunctional fast food place in my life. There needs to be a vast improvement. If it wasn’t for this small town only having a hand full of places to eat, this sonic would have been shut down by now. I’ve never left a negative review before but I felt like people should be aware of how lacking this Sonic is in so many aspects.

Workers are rude and don’t care about their job. Waited 30 minutes for an online order that had been sent to the kitchen 15 minutes prior to me getting there. 3 drinks and an order of mozzarella sticks. Multiple other people had been served while i sat wasting my time. Do not recommend going there, you will either get the wrong order or have to wait an absurd amount of time to get your order if its anything more than a drink. Im surprised they are still open, it has been this way for a long time.

This place has continued to break my heart! I was really excited to have a sonic locally, but my hopes continually get crushed! I ordered the #1 cheeseburger & tots . Couldn’t eat the sandwich it tasted bad & tots were quite hard .

I thought that the frying oil had not been changed in a while….everything tasted the same had a burnt taste to it. I did call the store after miles down the road and told them. They knew it and did say they were sorry. They took my phone number and promised new food when we were up there at a different time. They did comp the new food and it was normal. I was a 3 star….I am updating it to a 3.

So I’ve been here for like thirty minutes and still have not gotten my order. I ordered just three chicken strips and a cheeseburger, no drinks. It’s not even busy. The food is like any other sonic but it’s not fast. If you went to pizza hut you’d have your food to you faster.

I Pretty much live at Sonic. Love their big reds and the ice. I won’t go anywhere else for a bag of ice or as pretzel stick. The staff is usually very nice especially Brooklyn who takes pride in her job and makes Sonic a better place. I would want her as a manager there for sure. Very great experiences.

Oml… we watched 10 cars go through the drive thru and get their food before we did. It was a simple order. #1, #3, #3 and a kids meal. EVERYTIME I order myself a Cherry Dr Pepper they put cherry in my husband’s drink also! Today, after waiting forever for our food, the order wasn’t even correct. It’s not that hard to read a screen, put ALL those items in a bag and carry it out to the customer WITH A SMILE!!

Over several years, they have never gotten one of our orders right. Every time we go back, we think “we’re in a hurry & they’re right on the way. Surely they won’t screw it up AGAIN?!” And every single time, they manage to do it even worse. AND the customer service is THE worst. It’s not just incompetence….it’s blatant rudeness, which in my opinion, is inexcusable. (Before I get the cut/paste “sorry about your experience” response, I’ve already filled out the ticket info.)
