We’re from out of town and were running errands. Couldn’t find anything on our list, and then tried to find a meal. After going to 3 restaurants and finding all of them closed (because it’s a Monday), we went to Sonic on the highway. Sign on door said we’re short staffed today, please be patient. But the young woman taking our order and delivering it to our table couldn’t have been sweeter. Fast food is never more than a 4, but the service was a 10.

Stopped by here for dinner after a long day of driving, the crew was extremely busy every bay was full. They were polite and professional. Took my order as promptly as possible. And got my food out to me in a fairly timely manner considering how packed the place was. I took my time to eat my food as I didn’t want to be distracted while driving. MY phones GPS had been glitchy all day. It had me parallel to the road driving in fields all day and would often tell me to make turns to correct an get me on the paved roads I was already driving on. So I would punch in my destination and get the next location to turn. then turn off the Navigation app until I would arrive at said location. So navigating this trip took considerably more concentration.

Stopped on our way out to Denver for a quick lunch. The food was average at best. The burgers were good, but the chicken tenders were pretty rough. We sat outside on their patio, which was nice. I went in to get a refill of my soda and was told that since sat outside, i couldn’t get a refill. I asked why it mattered since we never left their property a d she said this was due to COVID-19 regulations. I thought it was 2023, not 2020. We sat outside because the building was dirty, which would have been more likely to contain COVID than outside.

The ice cream/milk shake machine was down, so that was disappointing. We came in from Wisconsin, and there’s no Sonic where we live, so we wanted the full experience. The service was great despite the lack of shakes. The atmosphere was still Sonic at its core.

Went through the drive thru and then decided to sit outside and eat it before moving on with long road trip. Decent wait time in drive thru. Food was very good and prices well. Went inside to use restroom and it was surprisingly clean.

Omg… tried this a couple of times due to limited places to eat since I am traveling. Have received received stale tater toys first time and second time. Come through drive through for a drink and took over 15 minutes just to get through the drive through. Landscape is overgrown and broken umbrella help the out side phasade.

Employees were arguing in the back. They were super short staffed, and the poor minors were getting yelled at. The fries were cold, but the chicken tenders were great.

This Sonic never fails to disappoint. Ordered through the app and when we arrived, the icecream machine didn’t work and we were left to call for a refund. That was a fiasco and no refund.

Stopped by on a road trip (3/22/23). Joe’s girlfriend and another woman were visiting and I guess our timing was inconvenient for him. Unfortunately (according to Joe) ice cream was available. After being informed that they were out, or almost out of half of the toppings, we finally settled on what we wanted ( 2 sonic blasts and a shake). Joe let us know that he hates ice cream, but then amended his statement to say that he hated making ice cream. (Based off of the sonic menu, this may not be the job for you, Joe) He stormed through the doors to the back to make them. When he gave us our order we were informed that they were out of spoons and he handed us forks. I don’t know if that was true or not, but there is a dollar general just up the road. After leaving, my sons and I all felt uncomfortable based off of Joe’s attitude and the fact that we couldn’t see our order being made and felt it would be safer to trash the ice cream, so I can’t tell you how it tasted.
