We had an app order, two items were missing entirely, we had to go back through the drive through for missing tots. My “super sonic breakfast burrito” had no meat or cheese in it. It consisted of only egg, tomato, too much onion and WAY TOO MANY jalapeños. Our green apple sprite was grape…

My amazing carhop, Stormie, got me sold on the unicorn slush drink!!! The unicorns horn as a straw is genius, along with it changing color when the cold drink goes through it! Super cute, fun drink! After the great suggestion, our service was quick, accurate, and our server was super friendly as well as very professional in her work. Stormie and the Unicorn Slush Drink for a win!

I just door dash an order the door dasher was great. But I ordered chili cheese tots a pretzel and a corn dog the corn dog was ok the pretzel was half hard and my chilli cheese tots barely have any chilli on them. I tried calling twice but no answer both times.

Marquis was friendly and seemed happy to be at work.
Whomever cooked though was very lacking tonight. The footlong was on a very short bun, tater tots were very undercooked and my husband became violently sick after a couple bites of his cheese tots. I’m not sure what’s going on but the food was very bad tonight. We could not eat it.

An all American Drive-In with car hops. 2 in Newton Kansas, on the main street that makes them the favorite Cruising turn around spots for people on the main drag. Food always good and consistant. Happy hours for drinks and appetizers at 50% of prices in afternoon and half price malts and shakes after 8pm during spring and summer months.

I love this location and for the longest time it was my favorite, however it’s slowly been getting worse with the workers constantly messing up my order. I have to go back around majority of the time I order anything because it’s wrong. The cherry limeades never have the cherry or the lime and more than likely the cherry limeade taste like watered down sprite. And they just throw a random soda in a cup (or don’t clean their machines enough) And never get anything bacon cuz they will forget it…

I ordered two meals on the app to pick up on the way home tonight. Get there right when I said I would, hit the arrived button, food comes right out, delivered by a smiling young man. Awesome right?!? Drive the 3-4 miles home and as we unpack our bag of food wife notices her cheeseburger has no burger. We pack up the food and head back the 3-4 miles hoping to exchange for a new meal. NOPE! All she can offer is to remake the imaginary cheeseburger. I verify her response with her and then accept what little she can do. They promptly bring out another cheeseburger and we drive the 3-4 miles back home. Microwave our original order and eat nuked fast food. I would understand only replacing the imaginary cheeseburger at a sit down restaurant, but when the meal is take out, the whole meal should be remade so everyone is eating warm food. Am I wrong here? I ask her for the owners phone number, she tells me to look it up! Both Newton locations have gone down hill the last three years.

The quality of the food in this visit was poor. My cheeseburger was overcooked and charred on the edges. It was edible but just barely. The diet cherry limeade had a strange taste to it that I can’t really describe. Not sure if it is the ice or the syrup.
My son usually likes the pretzel but this one looked like it had been cooked twice and then reheated. He said his ocean water slush had a funny taste as well.
My daughter had a cheeseburger kids meal and she said it was good although the bun was “soaked with ketchup”.
The service was good, it came out fast and the carhop was pleasant.
If we had came in at 3:00 pm I could maybe of understood the subpar food but we were there at noon and it was not busy.
We took our food home to eat, that is why I didn’t bring it up with the manager.
I have gone to this Sonic location for as long as it has been there. Over the last several years the food quality is terribly inconsistent. For $25 I would have expected better.
Please try to do better. It will be awhile before I visit again.

Got a chicken strip meal while on lunch break, and was very disappointed. I get an hour break for lunch, the food takes almost 40 minutes and I get home and I may be mistaken but I thought the dinner came with onion rings? And I got one single tiny little onion ring. Don’t think I will be returning
