Back in the day I remember going here after a cross country meet and we pretended to be pulling a rope across the street as cars drove by. We got in trouble. But I really enjoyed the chili cheese coney. I also ate ice cream after a girl who was sick because my mom wouldnt buy me ice cream. I got mono.

Paid about $10 for the burrito meal to get a burrito half the size of my husbands hand with hardly anything in it. It’s supposed to be the “All Meat” and is pretty much just egg.

Most of the people who leave reviews either are very entitled or had one bad experience and totally write off the entire place as bad. Sonic is a good drive in most of the time, long wait times can be explained by the lack of workers and they cook food fresh unlike the slop at McDonald’s that is just left under a warmer for who knows how long. The biggest issue is the technical problems with the ordering stalls and half of them being out of order or barely functional. Also depending on who is working the food and drink quality is inconsistent. I want to give a huge shout out to the employees Peter and Ethan for being very hard workers and polite guys, and I think you need to try to think about people other than yourself for once before you start crapping on others because you had one bad experience. I really hope the local workers see my review because some people work very hard and a whole restaurant is slandered because of a few bad actors or some technical difficulty. Hopefully they can fix their equipment as soon as possible. I will say a lot of the issues people have stated have been occurring for way too long. I would give 5 stars if they could fix their ordering stalls and the long wait times.

I got 2 burgers and a strawberry slush. The burgers were fine but my strawberry slushie was “frozen frozen.” All they did was place the strawberries on top of the frozen slush mix. It’s like drinking the blast ice cream with a straw.

I ordered 4 chicken sandwiches today. I was putting my vehicle in the shop so I wasn’t going to be able to get out and go to the grocery shop. I figured it’s one day. I’ll go pick up lunch out for the family. But I got home and every one of the chicken sandwiches I ordered has a damn tomato on it. If I eat that I’m going straight into an ambulance. I almost bit into one, but I stopped. I saw a tiny piece of tomato hanging out. I checked and the others have it too.

The lady that took my order was the rudest person I have had to deal with in a LONG time at a food establishment. If you can’t remove tomato’s and add mustard instead of ketchup and mayo you’re in the wrong line of work. I wouldn’t stop there again if someone gave me a million dollars. Do better sonic!

Only gets 2 stars because drinks are great and the few staff you do have are nice. Half the stalls are broken with no sign on them. Wait time is ridiculous because there is barely anyone working here. Wamego sonic do better

Usually have good experience with sonic. The Wamego exit location in Kansas is consistently awful! I waited over 5 minutes to be acknowledged let alone waited on. The girl who finally took my order showed zero interest in doing so. I got SEVEN tater tots and the were burned! Grrr

None of the screens worked on the menu boards so they had to take the card or cash back in to make the payment. We decided to pay with cash and paid $3.41 over the bill. The runner brought our food out and asked if we want to change. I told him I did and then he asked me if I wanted the 41 cents. I told him to go ahead and keep it, but he should have never asked in the first place. He should have just given The change back and let me decide if I wanted to leave a tip or not, which I wouldn’t have done to begin with because that is pretty much their job which is to bring the food out to the car. My wife’s bun on her burger was hard and the French fries were overcooked and looked like they had been sitting in the heat lamp for quite a while. Now I know why this place has so few stars for reviews.
