Super nice workers. The chili cheese tots were great but the burger was a mess. Undercooked patties and SO greasy. The bun had soaked up the grease and it was just gross.

9/14/25: they upsize with giving you the smaller size quantity of food but was already a mile down the road before I noticed charge and quantity. They don’t listen to: please include one extra sauce even after the window and server repeated what I ordered accurately and gave a 15% tip. Food was decent

Went to Tonganoxie sonic tonight and had a bad experience. Pressed the button to place order and sat there for 10 minutes with no one answering. Proceeded to go through drive thru and nobody answered there either. The hardest thing to understand was they weren’t that busy and the teenagers working were standing around inside talking and eating fries. Won’t be back until they get it fixed.

We waited for 15 minutes after hitting the order button and all the cars around us ordered. I asked one of the workers and they said they can’t help. Then my food was wrong, missed a tot and burger was not made correctly.

I preface this by saying I have been to this location several times, but normally don’t complain. I am just tired of it being inconsistently gross. Since this Sonic is near my house and I work from home, I picked up my food today and went home before investigating. The chicken strip basket was incomplete. I didn’t receive an onion ring and the toast was old. The chicken was really tough, almost rubbery. I couldn’t finish eating it as the texture turned my stomach. The store also neglected to provide any of the sauces I had requested. Just a terrible experience all around and a loss of $11.00.

I go here a couple times a week atleast and everyone is always friendly. Only downfall is that when they are out of something, it literally takes weeks. For example, this is the 3rd week they don’t have onion rings

Ordered the new philly steak. Hardly any steak in it whatsoever. Ordered popcorn chicken with honey mustard, no honey mustard. Used to frequent this Sonic all the time. Never again. Absolutely ridiculous. Tater tots were cold. This location used to be good. Not sure what happened. I will not be returning and will be discouraging anyone else from going.
