After a 20+ minute wait in the drive thru. Only to find out they can’t find the order and I have to repeat the order, in which I had very little faith something wouldn’t be screwed up. Got food, mayo on a burger I said twice no mayo. Naturally there was mayo and I am awaiting another 20 minute wait to get it fixed. If you have a whole afternoon of sitting in your car with nothing better to do. This is the place for you.

FOOD POISONING!!!
Yesterday, Friday, January 9, in the morning between 7 and 8 AM. I ordered a bacon burrito meal with french fries and a cherry limeade. I should’ve known there were going to be issues when the fries came out burnt and super greasy. They tasted horrible. I called back into the store and asked if they could make me some fresh french fries that were not overcooked and not super greasy and maybe not made in old grease. What got brought to me was exactly what I got the first time. Gross. I started eating my bacon burrito. Maybe you need to train your kitchen staff there is a reason you advertise CRISPY bacon! Crispy means cooked. I should’ve known better when about my third bite a whole piece of bacon came out of the burrito and slapped me in the face because it was soft and “mostly” cooked. Not the first time I’ve eaten at SONIC and the bacon wasn’t crispy so I finished my burrito. Went on about my day.
FOOD POISONING takes 30 minutes to 24 hours to come about. For me, about 14 hours.
Four rounds of violently vomiting.
Five rounds of explosive, watery diarrhea.
Rolling chills racking my body all night.
Obviously, no sleep all night.
I’m writing this around 10 am, approximately 12 HOURS after the fun started.
Educate your staff that undercooked bacon causes FOOD POISONING and in severe cases can kill people. So, being too quick to get crap food out the door is dangerous.

For one of the newest sonic restaurants in town it sure went down hill fast, it resembles the maiden lane sonic except madin lane has better service.

We sat at the playground area due to traveling and wanting to let our youngest play on the equipment. This play area was still littered with trash from July 4th festivities (the bottle looking poppers were everywhere) and today is July 12th. I would have thought trash would have been picked up within a couple days at least.
Then we got our food. The first bite of my coney was complete rubber so I tried eating the mozzarella sticks. As you will see in my picture most of them were yellowish in color and solid. They were not white, melty cheese. They should not have been served, they should have been in the trash.

Placed an online order and checked in at a stall. 20 minutes when buy and the screen showed order complete but nothing. I had to press the button and ask what happened and it took another 5 minutes to finally get my order. Do better sonic.

This sonic is great for road trips with kids. Stopped here driving from Texas to Missouri, food was good and they have an amazing playground! The ground on the playground is sand so heads up for sandy shoes but I will stop here again on trips.
