It’s fast food, but I gave the food a 4 star for being hot. The service was great. I think the worker we had was the only one there and she was polite and starting to get busy. She worked as fast as she could and we did not have to wait that long for our food.
We visited 12/27/2025 @ 11:00. The receipt is to faded to read her name but she did well!

Ordered Foot Long Chili Cheese coney and Groovy Fries. Hotdog tasted like it was leftover from last year’s carnival and the chili seemed like they scraped the bottom of the pan. The fries were hot but it seems they took the leftovers in the warmer and put them back in the fryer. Over cooked and hard as rocks. All in all the hotdog bun was fresh.

Today, I tried their fish sandwich, and the fish was good. Crispy and full of flavor!
I did not, however, like the tarter sauce. I am picky about tarter sauce, and for me, the tarter sauce was sweet. I just don’t care for sweet tarter. The kiddo inhaled his bacon double smasher and swears its the best burger around!

I would give them a 0 if I could. Went there tonight ordered a simple chili cheese dog and small tots with cheese. Order took over 10 minutes to be brought out. Checked the bag and it contained onion rings. They took them back and brought out the tots a few minutes later. My fault ..I drove home and found it was plain tots…not cheese tots. and went to take out the chili cheese dog and guess what..it was tots with cheese. The forgot the dang Chili cheese dog….went back tonight 8.31.21…and they said only waiting on cars.. I drive a jeep…really..2 yrs later..went back…messed up order again..15 minute wait for cold old and dried up burger…

I don’t review very often. Only when an experience is exceptionally bad or exceptionally good. Last night, my wife put an order in at Odessa Sonic at 8:14pm and she did not receive her correct order until 9:04pm!!! Almost an hour.
She received the wrong order (completely) at 8:40.
Then, when the correct ice creams were finally delivered at 9:04, they were well melted, which tells me there was no hurry to get the correct order out, or even purposely sat on the counter.
Furthermore, it used to be common for restaurants to try to make things right, by giving you coupons for a free meal or not charging you for the current meal when service is so awful. No such attempt was made by any server and all that was said to my wife was “sorry”.
We will no longer go to Odessa Sonic. We really like the current menu at Sonic, but every time we go to THIS Sonic, the wait time is long and it seems something is always wrong in the order (which in looking at other individuals’ reviews, seems to be a common experience for at least the last year). When an experience at a fast food restaurant is able to completely ruin your family’s evening and puts everyone in an awful mood, there is no reason to give them your money any longer.

Chicken was a hockey puck, fries were covered in burnt debris from the unchanged grease and they didn’t put any of the condiments in the bag even after telling me they were inside.

All food was cold. Sandwich was not fix the way I ask for it. Also had a human hair in the cheese. This happened ab9ut 4 months ago also. I will not go back to Sonic in Odessa again. Looking for where to file a corporate complaint.
