This location should not have re-opened.
On the date of 01/29/2026 at 7:30pm I ordered two items:
A jr double cheeseburger and a chili wrap which I intended to share with my child. On the second bite of the chili wrap I bit into a hard bread tag and had to spit it out. This is a serious food safety issue, especially considering I was about to pass it to my child. So it is a food safety incident that nearly involved a child. Im amazed this location is still open – Make sure you check your food thoroughly as this could have killed a small child. I will be contacting corporate and the Department of Health and Senior Services in Missouri.

Shoutout to my carhop Jessica. She was really nice to myself and others that I saw her encounter. My food was made correctly ( I always add extras) and it was fresh and hot. Great customer service is hard to find nowadays but she was exceptionally nice! I am having a hard day today and seeing nice people like her gives me hope in this world. I hope she will see this comment!

My mom ordered two corn dogs and both were burnt and looked disgusting, one didn’t even have a top half. How do you package something like this? Do your job and throw it away and get one that is suitable for the customer.

TLDR: food missing, food made wrong, long wait, cold burger. Won’t return.

I dont eat much sonic, but I was pretty interested in trying this location since it reopened a couple of months ago after being closed for over a year due to a car crash into the building. I assumed that, like most restaurants that have only been open a few months where all staff have been recently trained, everything would go smoothly and the food would be hot and fresh. This is not the case.

I ordered ahead on the app and showed up a few minutes before my estimated pick up time. I pulled into pick up spot #15. The other pick up spots around me had cars parked in them but no one inside the car so I assume staff is using this for parking for whatever reason.

I ordered a burger, fries, and a small chicken bite with a barbecue sauce. The only modification I made to this order was no tomato on the burger.

After waiting 8 minutes past the estimated pick up time, which you know stuff happens so whatever, someone finally arrives to drop off my food. I open the bag and immediately notice there is no chicken or barbecue sauce in the bag. As it is a sonic, there is no lobby or register and you have to go into their kitchen. I went in and they said they would get me my food and they hand me my bag back after only about 30 seconds, pretty quick so I’m assuming it was made and just sitting there. I go back out to my car and notice that the barbecue is still missing but at this point I just don’t want to go back inside again so I just decide to leave without it. After I opened the burger, there was two big tomato slices on there, which as mentioned previously was the single modification to the entire order. Obviously I can just remove the tomato myself so I did but of the three things I ordered one was missing (and I never got the sauce for it) and the other one was made wrong. I’m still giving two stars because of the fries were hot and fresh which was nice, but my burger was definitely not. I assume they made the burger first, waited around for fries, and then somehow forgot the chicken and sauce on top of that.

Between the food issues and the pick up time estimation being pretty far off, this was overall a really disappointing experience at what should be one of the better run and managed locations as it is still effectively brand new. Would not return.

This is like the 5th time that something has been wrong with the food. First and foremost, the drive-through lady was very Attentive at drive thru and understanding when I called… The chicken was raw and not buy a little bit. Whoever is in the back needs to just take their time or be fired. Inexcusable Mozzarella sticks and cheddar bites were cold as well no big deal I can microwave those. It’s around the corner for me. It’s a shame that this happens all the time $50 that’s where I spent and felt like I only got 15….. thank you Iam still waiting on my refund

A whole bunch of teenagers playing around. Serving friends in the line behind me getting there’s stuff first. While I only ordered one thing. And it took forever. There were multiple employees hitting the vape while working and going out to see their friends. My burger sucked. It was hard and not made correctly.

So for starters could you stop putting hotdogs in the bag vertically? You realize what happens to all of the toppings when you do that right? They slide off the hotdogs. Also if you could remember my condiments one time? that would be awesome. Also please stop putting tot upside down in the god forsaken bag! And finally if you could not slap my burger together in a shape that resembles a burger that has been elbow dropped by the big show that would be great! Idk if its training or giving a shit but people pay for this, please learn to treat it like youve ordered it for yourself. It isnt that hard.

Ordered a peach shake that I’ve been getting for years, tastes like peach and always has peach chunks in it. Love my peach shakes. The shake was vanilla ice cream NO TASTE OF PEACH, NO PEACH CHUNKS!!! IT REALLY WAS AWFUL, I ASKED FOR NO WHIPPED CREAM OR CHERRY, I GOT WHIPPED CREAM AND A CHERRY. THE PARKING LOT REALLY SUCKS BECAUSE IF YOU TRY TO GO IN FROM 35TH ST YOU HAVE TO PULL IN THEN BACK UP TO BE ABLE TO PARK. I WON’T GO BACK TO THIS SONIC AGAIN. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Decided to stop in finally after the rebuild. Pushed the red button 4 different times, never got an answer, pulled to the drive through, car in front of us had been there quite some time and also couldn’t order. There was a whole whopping 5 cars, cant exactly say they were too busy.
