Having eaten (or attempted to) at 5 different Sonic locations, I have determined that all the problems here stem from a complete failure of the software that controls the ordering screens at each stall.
The food is fantastic (when you can order), but the ability to order at stalls is spotty at best. The employees either aren’t notified that you preased the order button (has happened 3 times), or they have no idea which stall you are at (has happened twice, including today).
Sonic Corporate really needs to step up and support their locations with a major software overhaul that fixes these issues.

Went there before closing at 9:45 to get a drink. Some of the staff was outside changing menus and the rest of the staff was inside. They turned off the “call” button several times and were unwilling to answer through the drive thru as well. As soon as it hit 10pm all lights were shut off and we drove away seeing staff laugh and walk outside. Very unprofessional. Will not be going back.

Tomatoes on my burger and I’m highly allergic to them, would of sent me into anaphylaxis shock and in the hospital.

Asked for extra cookie dough and they barely added any. They also had slow service and seemed like barely anyone was working. Milkshakes and blasts also looked very quickly made. One last thing is that their cups had a reek of vomit.

I had a delicious meal there. The service was fast and I sat outside at the picnic tables and it was beautiful out.

The sonic on Wabash was always a bit slower than other sonics in town, but after what happened to my simple order I don’t think I’ll be going back. All I got was a route 44 cherry limeade. Tastes good for a while, then when I get home I open the lid to put more ice in my drink, and there’s a dead fly stuck to the side of the cup! I was drinking from that for probably 15 minutes before I realized that was there. Folks you need to check your drinks when you get them from this sonic, to make sure there’s no dead bugs in it!

Thought I would try the Eclipse themed drink and still don’t know what to think as I’ve never encountered anything like it. But that isn’t a good or bad thing. It just wasn’t what I thought it might be but others might truly enjoy.

Always ask for the same items on my burger order. They ring it right on the screen, but 9 out of 10 times, it will be wrong. Either missing items or extra items.

I bought an double cheeseburger I asked for it to be an certain way and did not receive it like I wanted it my burger was not put together well my bun was not on the burger and I called the store 3 times and didn’t get an answer
