Went here last week after a long 8 hour shift at work. Ordered online to preface. So was no way for me to cancel. I waited in queue for 30 minutes. I tried calling the store or clicking the buzzer and nothing. Short of me coming up to the drive thru window getting ahold of anyone was useless. Finally got my food after the long gueling wait. Not super apologetic for me waiting so long for my food. Ran late at home to watch my kids so my husband could go to his church meeting.
Also to preface I live 30 minutes away from this sonic. So I get back on the interstate excited to eat my dinner (my first meal of the day. At this point) and not only did I NOT get my tater tots. I got the completely wrong burger. And not only was it the wrong burger. It was soggy and Luke warm like it was ready waiting for me for 20 minutes. Absolutely disgusting. Threw it away when I got home. I couldn’t call and complain of course because no one picks up of course. So I chatted with their customer service and after chatting with them for 30 minutes. The only solution was a $5 giftcard or have them call me in 1-2 days. (Mind you I threw away &didn’t get more than $5 of food) so reluctantly told them to call me. And to no surprise I did not get a call back. Would be nice to get a refund for the food I did not get. And maybe a voucher for a meal for wasting an hour of my time. So yeah I don’t recommend This Sonic to anyone! I’ve never had problems to the Sonic in Pekin though! But I worked in Peoria. So was just convenient.

Work fairly close by and tried stopping in at a stall to eat on a lunch break. Ordered no problem! 15 minutes go by, I hear from a stall next to me they are drive through only. 20 minutes go by, and then 30. I am now officially late to get back to work and still no food. 40 minutes and still nothing. I tried pushing the button to just cancel but no one ever answered. Almost 50 minutes after I initially ordered I get an incredibly greasy bag and cold food

I have ordered from the Sonic drive through before and enjoyed it. I decided to post a review today because the food was especially delicious. My pork tenderloin was wonderful and the fries were awesome! I’ll be back there soon.

Ordered online. The drivethru line was 10 deep. I pulled into the stall. Put my stall number in. After 15 minutes I see someone yelling out the driverthru window. I walk inside and they ask “what am I doing?” I tell them I’m coming in for my food. They told me I had to go through the drive thru. Online said my food would be ready in 5 minutes. It’s now been 20. I exit and go into the drive thru, behind a still 10 deep line of cars. I get a bag of food. Leave the window like a fool. It’s not my order. 50 minutes and I didn’t even get the right food. Shame on sonic and especially the North Sterling Peoria, Illinois location.

Got onion rings and they were hot but the oil needs changed as they taste like vanilla. The server was not very personalble. Sandwich was good but very messy and sloppy. Not worth $19 for one meal.

Just got food- a double smasher burger. It’s absolute fire. Best sonic meal in a second, and I’m a sonic lover. Employee was super nice and apologized for the wait- even tho it was highkey only five minutes if that. But yeah everything in the order was hot. My meal the burger and fries was so delicious. New sonic location for sure. Everybody deserves a raise

Stopped by to pick up the new Grillos pickle burger. The burger did actually taste good. The man working was friendly. A woman handed me my food I said “thank you” they turned said nothing. To me, just not great customer service. Takes no effort to say “you’re welcome”.

We ordered cheese sticks, chicken sandwich,fries, chicken tenders, a pretzel and ice cream + a berry drink. All was fantastic. Normally when you think of crinkle cut fries you think of those pale and soggy and sad tasting French fries but here they were crispy and seasoned. All of the food was amazing will Definitely get again

Placed an online order and when we got to the stall, we were told there wasn’t a manager present so they weren’t making food. We weren’t able to give a response as the female worker went ahead and walked out of the building flailing her hands in the air. Few minutes later, 4 City of Peoria police showed up. Ended up having to call corporate since the workers couldn’t bother to cancel our order. We had two very crabby kids in the back so it added more fuel to the fire. The workers here suck.

Unbelievably slow. I only ordered 5 items along with my daughter. They forgot a sammich. Didn’t notice till I got to hotel. Tried to go back out of principle. Waited, too long. Said screw it. Horrible. 2 sammiches, 2 drinks and fries. Not too tough if you are not high or intoxicated.
