Food was very tasty and hot. Better bacon cheeseburger than most places in town. The tots are a better alternative to fries. The drive-in portion can be fun and nostalgic for those of old enough to remember them. Wasn’t very busy and took them several minutes to acknowledge me standing there. Customer should be your focus and not talking to each other. The strawberry shortcake slushie was brilliant and tasted just like a good shortcake should, it’s a keeper.

Very poor service! The food was bad. It was dirty oil. I ordered a item that was advertised on TV for $2.99 and they charged me $3.99 for it. I didn’t realize it till I drove away. And to top it off, the food dry and not juicy like the commercial. Grand Forks sonic is a terrible place to eat. Don’t go there!

Sonic has gone down hill since they first opened, at least this one. The foods not hot, it’s barely warm. The fries are almost always cold. Lately when my family has come they don’t do the drive up either. Something needs to change with this location. We won’t be back for quite a while. It use to be good when they first opened and that kept us coming back, until it stopped.

I was charged for someone else’s order. Told to call the number on the receipt. No answer or call back. Also I ordered a #4 with a large limeade. I received a sprite with limes. When I tried to correct the mistake I was told that’s what a limeade is. Food was decent though. Just saying the limeades are supposed to be a staple of the Sonics franchise.

Ordered 2 meals, both double bacon cheeseburgers with ketchup mayo and pickle. One with tots one with onion rings and and drpeppers. We received a single cheeseburger with onions and ketchup and a chicken sandwich. The tots, onion rings and drinks were correct. How hard is it to fill an order with the correct items especially when u aren’t even busy.

It was okay, seems like they need more people, only the drive through was open, and it wasn’t even 5pm. I expected better quality for what they charge and the fries were worse than the frozen ones from the grocery store. The only unique thing now is the drinks. If you want a good burger for the price, go somewhere else.

Waiting for food in the drive in for a total of 26 minutes the screen said that Devin was supposed to bring out food. After the screen cleared and we didn’t have our food we waited for about 10 minutes, it never came. We had to go in to find out that no one was wearing gloves trying to justify the lack of gloves by saying they wash hands every 20 minutes while the cook was eating scraps from the burger fixings touching his mouth and then someone’s food. Who knows if the claim that they wash every 20 minutes is true if non of them are even capable of figuring out how to wear gloves. The manager who we found out was Devin the same one that we were expecting to bring out food decided to be quickly offended and tried to justify the actions instead of acting like a manger and working on resolving the issue properly. Would not recommend unless your trying to get salmonella or like to potentially eat phone screen feces burgers. I’m sure he checked his phone more then one time in that 20 minutes.

Don’t waste your time. The service was far from great… The one young man in the drive thru window was rude. He talked quietly and he was sitting on the counter. I feel that it is deeply unsanitary. Honestly, it’s not worth the stop. There are so many better places

It’s a drive in like the A&W of the past. There is a problem with the ordering from the pull up your car menu system. We ordered a full slate of food and shakes for 4 of us and it never came! They thought we were in the drive thru! Went inside and they still had our order sitting in the corner of the drive thru food spot! They apologized and made new fresh everything which is nice but such a waste of food! The next day we stopped for drinks at happy hour at a different drive up spot and they were about to make the same mistake again until we specifically told them we were not in the drive thru, then they had to ask which spot we were parked in! That’s crazy, we have never run into this before and we have been at this location several times in the past! Train your employees or better yet fix your ordering system!
