I ordered a chocolate Oreo shake online on Tuesday, February 3rd. What I received instead was just a regular Oreo shake. While it wasn’t bad, it definitely wasn’t what I ordered or what I had been craving all shift. I was genuinely excited for this shake, so the disappointment really hit when I peeled back the whipped cream, took that first hopeful bite, and realized there was no chocolate whatsoever. It honestly ruined the moment. The Oreo shake was fine, but it did not hit the spot at all, and I was internally upset afterward because I had been looking forward to that chocolate Oreo flavor specifically. When you’re craving something all day, getting the wrong order is such a letdown. Please double-check orders moving forward.
Update February 2026:
I am adding photos to show the difference between what is advertised and what I received. The menu image clearly shows a fully chocolate blended shake with Oreo pieces mixed evenly throughout. What I was given was pale and mostly vanilla colored with little to no chocolate blended in.
I returned it to have it corrected, and the remake still was not properly blended. Instead of being mixed throughout the shake, the Oreos were simply placed on top with whipped cream. When customers pay for a specific item shown on the menu, it should be prepared as advertised. I was polite and gave the location the opportunity to fix it, but I still left disappointed.

Stopped in to grab a quick breakfast while traveling. They have a great breakfast burrito and the french vanilla iced coffee is always good. One of the better Sonics I’ve been to.

Food is good, but every time we go here my girlfriend order the garlic butter bacon burger with no onions and every time, staff says it doesn’t come with onions. When we open the bag, it has onions. When I try to tell the staff that it does come with onions, like it says on the menu, they act annoyed and tell me again that it doesn’t.

Stopped in for burger, fries and milk shake. Got our food and back on the road. 10-hour trip total. The burger was really good as were the fries. The chocolate shake was very thick. I
thought I would suck my eyes in trying to drink it. Not a complaint, better than one like milk.
I put this on my list of places to stop when I travel to St. Louis in the future.

Stop in at around 2 pm on Wednesday Sept 24th. There were only 3 other cars in “stalls”. Ordered a Turtle Truffle Mini Blast & a Heath Medium Blast. Order prep time seemed excessive. When our Blasts were served there was a minimum amount of the named toppings/ ingredients! Not much more than “just ice cream”. Oh and the big…”ARE YOU KIDDING ME?” No Napkins (“I can go get y’all, some!)

Ordered via the app only to find out couldn’t fill my order. Asked that they cancel order. Told that they couldn’t cancel order, it had to be done through the app. Unable to cancel order due to already arrived at pickup. App only allows cancelation up to 5 minutes prior to arrival. Sonic sucks and owes me 10 dollars.

I have never had this bad of food quality at a Sonic. Absolutely disgusting and stomach churning food. I have eaten hundreds of breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches at Sonic’s all over the country. The eggs were all burnt and nasty. Five of use ordered food and we each threw ours away after one bite.

I mean, that’s a large wad of boiled potatoes that were fried first. You know they looked at this and said yep, looks like a large to me send it! I wouldn’t buy this with monopoly money much less $3.50USD. These clearly went in the trash.

We had just driven 3 hours and wanted a quick bite. The server taking the order was upset that I didn’t know the menu completely and I ordered incorrectly on 2 counts. My son requested a blast that wasn’t in the menu. And the server was rude and impatient with us. Then I ordered a drink but only gave the size “route 44”. I failed to specify the actual beverage. A simple mistake as I’m ordering for 3. Again I was chastised and I could hear the discontent from the server.
I won’t be visiting here again. I recommend stopping before or after this Sonic location. If I could leave a more negative rating, I would.
I understand it’s a Sunday. It’s a fast food restaurant but at least have some courtesy and patience with the customers.
