The carhop had a stank attitude, we ordered groovy fries and didn’t get any sauce, and I ordered (and paid for) a master shake and received a regular one. Spin around and go to McDonald’s instead.

Now, the Winona Sonic is close to the top of the list on food, timely service, correct orders, and genuine hospitality. It’s probably my favorite Sonic to eat at. Awesome that the new owners revived it from absolutely nothing and only open when they felt opening, to a Sonic of great food and scheduled business hours.

Well, the Sonic is slowly but surely becoming the Sonic of the old days. First of all, this has been happening the last several months or so. Sometimes it’s so easy to tell that the employee who is taking the order is really distracted by the other employees within the building. Becoming so distracted they have a hard time taking your order and getting it right. My last 8 out of 10 visits at night have been disappointing, I must say. Lunch has been great for the most part. Very satisfied with lunch shift. The night shift, from my experience, is lacking….. Wrong food, wrong order, didn’t get size right, left out an item, forgot an item, food overcooked, some of it can not be eaten, and some of it just taste like it’s been cooked half the day. Tonight, order #101461, tray T5D, and stall #18, the ice cream was forgotten with cookie dough bites. Was unaware of it until I got home. Not going back to Sonic to get the ice cream. Also my daughter’s order of cheese sticks were cooked entirely to long and zero cheese in them. Asked for extra marinara sauce and once getting home realized there were zero marinara packs in the bag. I ordered fries with my meal; half the order was tater tots, couple of onion rings, and rest fries. Pics of receipt and cheese sticks. I’m done with the place. Back to the same old, same old Sonic again.

My only problem with sonic right now is that I wish they would put a sign or cone to let you know which stalls are not working.

The way the owner (Ray Winstead) treats the staff is horrible. The worst I HAVE EVER SEEN! The professionalism is completely absent.

I used to love the steak sandwich but not after tonight. It was dry and they failed to put any mayo on it. The fries were hot on top and cold as heck on the bottom. People just serve anything nowadays thats not even worth it. 1/10 and thats because the drink was good.

I went to this Sonic knowing mistakes happen we’re all human. They got my order wrong, no big deal. I politely asked for it to be remade. Instead of doing that, the employees decided to scrape off the unwanted ingredients and hand me the same sandwich like I wouldn’t notice. They did a poor jod at trying to take a short cut. Lazy doesn’t even begin to describe it.
To make it worse, the so called “supervisor” claimed she couldn’t give me a refund and said only the owner can do that. That’s just false, but I wasn’t about to waste more energy arguing. I left the food, refused the order, and I’ll be having my bank handle the charge.
An absolute joke of a location. Do yourself a favor pick literally any other restaurant nearby and skip this place.

I ordered a cheese burger & onions ring they brought out mozzarella sticks. I called to let them know still waiting on the onions rings
At first they brought the wrong order they put on the wrong tray.
Had to call for the manager to come waiting to see what’s she’s going to do.
Sad she will bring out a small order of onion rings still waiting
