Order a smasher burger. Got it with no bacon. And order a sonic burger with no onions and lettuce. Got a burger that the onion and lettuce was half way removed. Order a LARGE coke. Got a regular. when we went to order the lady on the intercom kept interrupting and then would tell us “I can’t hear you speak up”. You can’t hear us cause you kept interrupting!
When you get to the window there is a bad smell in that area.

On Monday February 2, 2026 I was in Cleveland, Ms, was hungry so I stopped by Sonic Drive-In. I ordered the $6.00 Smash Burger meal and when I say that burger was all that and then some it was. It was fresh, hot and juicy and the young lady who took our orders was very patient and polite. I just might drive to Cleveland when I don’t have to go just to eat at Sonic Drive-In…

I knew it was going to be different when I pulled up and I heard a nice fellow trying to get the same order he’d gotten for his family 2 days prior but they weren’t able to understand what seemed pretty simple. It digressed to him saying a few expletives and leaving. It took them a few times to get my order right, but they did. It was fair quality compared to my hometown Sonic. I’m not inclined to return. I tried them twice and both times I had problems. They were friendly but not very competent. Interesting hires. If I’m the owner, I’m definitely fixing management.

This location ALWAYS have rude and bad customer service!!! On today’s visit I had to ask FIVE times for a drink holder when I had 3 drinks! I wasn’t greeted and she just hung my food, card and receipt out the window! It’s very sad that no one care to give good(even decent) customer service these days. I’m not that old but when I worked fast food, we were trained to do better! This location need to re-evaluate who they are hiring AND train them better!

I always order in the app. But when I do order the regular way the professionalism is always consistent and welcoming. I can definitely tell this franchise is under great management. Great job to this location, workers, supervisors and all. Food is already hot and drinks made to perfection!!!

I enjoy sonic and have been to multiple different locations, but this location in particular gives me more bad experiences than good. I enjoy the food a lot, particularly the chicken tender dinner and other combo meals, but more often than not my drink will be incorrect or one of my items is forgotten. Some occasions I have even had issues with customer service treating me poorly. I would say 3 out of every 5 visits leave me with a poor experience. I use both the sonic app and the drive-in stalls and have found no difference in experience. I can only recommend going here if you really crave a particular menu item.
