This place has seriously gone down hill. Everytime I come here the past few months I either get completely ignored or they finally respond after 20 or 30 minutes. Even got told one time that they’re not coming out to the side drive in because it’s to far to walk. Do better Sonic, y’all got awesome food but terrible customer service at this location

I am totally fed up with the Sonic, in Covington!! This place is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!! If a customer orders food and requesrt something be added to the sandwich!! Would you please do as asked??? Not to mention the carhops, who can’t even be polite or speak when they bring your food to the car!! I have repeatedly tried to patronize this establishment!! News flash!! I am DONE!! It makes NO SENSE, speaking doesn’t hurt anyone, especially if customers patronizing is what’s paying your salary!! People please get it together!! My sandwich was a disgrace to say the least!! Unless things change, you’re going to lose CUSTOMERS!!

This place is terrible. On more than one occasion I’ve just sat there and waited 15 minutes for someone to take my order and the never did, I just left. If you do get your order taken, I hope you have life insurance paid up cause your about to die of old age waiting in that parking lot.

The sonic in Covington, TN has the most inconsistent hours of operation I’ve ever seen. Recently placed an order through the mobile app. Order was placed just after 5pm and I arrived at sonic around 5:20pm. Upon arriving I see that all the lights inside are shut off. There was not a single employee on-site. I was already charged for my $52 order through the app. Had to call sonic customer support to get my money refunded in 7-10 days. This is one of many bad experiences I’ve had here. Better check your bags each time you go cause they will leave something out guaranteed. Probably the worst sonic in all the Mid-South region.

Update 7/18: We decided to try Sonic again. The service was great. They took our order quickly and brought our food within 5 minutes of ordering. The young lady that brought our order out was very kind and polite.

Slow service and they rarely have ice cream. Some servers do a great job others not so much. Some take to long to answer after pushing the red button even when they aren’t as busy. You can see them through the windows as they chit chat and laugh at you when they tell you they are out of something when they are not. If you want decent service and quality food I recommend the sonic in Atoka I live in Covington and I’d rather drive to Atoka then to deal with the one in Covington.

They’re so bad! Having you wait for a long period of time. Your order isn’t correct the food is thrown together and not to mention that your food is barely warm. Sonic was one of my #1 restaurant. Having ate here in about 5 to 6 months. Decided to go today and everything was wrong and cold NOT GOOD AT ALL ANYMORE!!!!!!
