The chicken sandwich they advertise vs the one you actually get. They charge the same price for a cheaper quality chicken patty. I was told this cheaper patty was used for the crispy chicken jr (average priced at $2?) which they no longer sell but still purchase the patties for when they run out of the higher quality chicken breast. Stop misleading your customers, if you are out of the correct meat inform them so that they can choose to pay a high price for a low quality product or choose differently

Went to this Sonic to get lunch for myself & my coworkers. The order was for 4 people but payment was all together and that was including my order. As I was giving my order the girl snapped at me & says “ma’am you’re going to have to slow down because youre going way too fast! “in a very rude & snarky tone. I paused for a second in disbelief that she spoke to me like that. I then told her she could have asked me nicely to slow down and that wouldn’t be a problem at all. Then I asked her what she had so far so I could precede with the order and she rambled through it so quickly completely contradicting herself as she had just snapped at me for talking too fast.. I asked to see her manager who basically defended her behavior and also told me I did give my order too fast.. She said the girl was a little flustered and having a bad day. We all have bad days but thats no excuse to snap at a customer. I won’t be going back to this location atleast not for a while.. Overall I am not happy with the way I was treated.

I was in Dothan for a concert and as I was leaving, I checked Google Maps for a restaurant that was still open nearby as it was getting late and to my surprise and delight, this Sonic was nearby. My local Sonic closed last year so it was perfect. The Super Sonic Double is as great as I remember and it was good to get their onion rings again. It was only about four minutes after I ordered before the food arrived. Thank you Sonic for keeping this one open.

Second visit not so good ordered jumbo popcorn chicken. Got a bowl full of breading. Only 3 actual pieces that had chicken in them but they were hard. The tots were fresh. TERRIBLE CHICKEN.

The service at the sonic is nothing short of terrible. I placed an order on the app for chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. The chicken tenders and the mozzarella sticks I requested one mozzarella sauce and one ranch for I got there and they proceeded to charge me .11 for each sauce . Since when did an order of chicken tenders not come with at least one sauce and mozzarella sticks not one marinara ? Ok; whatever , I’m not going to argue with a bunch of teenage kids over .22 who clearly don’t care about their jobs . Then I get home and the chicken bites themselves are all hard pieces of batter with zero meat on them whatsoever . The mozzarella sticks are cold and stuck together . Tried to call to speak to someone but it kept going to the voicemail of what sounded like a teenage girl on the recording . Save your time , money , and certainly your appetite and don’t eat at this sonic .

Update : we returned to try the Handmade Classic Milk Shakes. We checked the ingredients online and decided to try them. So we gave them another chance. They were pretty good. Much better than other fast food places in the area. This made me give then one more star.
We have not been to a Sonic in a long time. Figured why not. We had Burgers and Fries, with a lemonade and a water. To be Honest, none of it had a good flavor. The burger was fatty and lacked flavor. It was even perhaps a bit grisly. The fries were hot, so should have been fresh, but they were oily and also didn’t have a great taste. The lemonade was ok, but had a bitterness that was odd.
