I’ve been a loyal Sonic fan for over 10 years. I’ve always loved the drive-in concept, the huge menu variety, and the fair prices.
My go-to is usually the Sonic Burger meal with a chocolate chip cookie dough shake, and typically, my experiences are very positive. However, tonight’s visit was disappointing.
We originally ordered two items, then called back moments later to add two more of the exact same items. We were told they couldn’t add to the existing order and forced us to start a second one.
To give credit where it’s due, the food arrived quickly. The mozzarella sticks were fresh and the slushies were delicious as always.
The issue was the service. Since we were forced to have two separate orders, we informed the carhop that the money provided was to cover both. When they brought the change back, it was nearly $3—all in loose coins. To make matters worse, the carhop didn’t count the change back and essentially threw the handful of coins into my hand. It felt incredibly dismissive, likely because they didn’t want to deal with the coins they chose to give me.
I really hope management uses this as a teaching moment for the associates on professional conduct and basic customer service. I love Sonic, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Excellent customer service!! Jennie Morton came out and apologized that her head set wasn’t working and took our order in person and then took time to make sure it was correct. She was very nice and friendly! Thank you! Great experience!

Mom of 3 boys. Just came here to say we love it. What’s extra special is they are one of the only fast food place that let you unchange (for a decent price) to things on the adult menu. One of our favorite items is sonics onion rings. My 5 year old loves them and well, I love stealing a few.. Head on down to sonic drive thur today to get you some. The customer service with a friendly conversation and br8ght smile is on point. Keep it up Sonic!

Stale nasty food!. Everything you buy in this place is either extra greasy, old and stale or all of the above!. I’m starting to think if you go through the drive-thru you automatically get stale nasty food because there’s no tips involved. If you pull into a stall they expect a tip. So I’m thinking if you pull into a stall you might get fresh food and if that is the case I’ll never return and they should be shut down. I’ll have to try and see next time if there is a next time

Food was standard, service same. My issue? When you order a full meal (burger, fries, drink, and or blasts) you need more than 1 napkin per person. We ordered full meals for 2 and got only 2 napkins. Please be a little more generous with the napkins.

The girls were very rude in the drive thru, and I sat there for 35min for me to get up to the window and the girl wasn’t even able to find my food receipt so I can pay for my food. Not happy at all, and I love sonic and usually have no complaints but this location is a mess.

The food is the same. A hamburger tastes like a hot dog and that tastes like the onion rings. Oh, the onion rings have been so over cooked in grease that you can’t find the onion!!

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for sonics. The whole drive up thing may have died off if not for them. That said the prices have gone up and they are now charging for things that used to be free. But hey I get it times are hard in this very post war America. I’ll go back. Would love to see them hoist a classic car show! Just saying

We are from Canada and were intrigued by the drive-in style, as well as the really awesome sounding drink menu. I had to try the pickle fries. They were pretty soggy, My pretzel twist was pretty good. My husband got a Coney Dog and said it was OK! I was disappointed with the Powerade Slush. Great concept, food, not so much.

I would have given a perfect score even tho I dont ever stay at the location, BUT im not happy that the hours got changed! I was there several times a week between 6 and 630. Now they dont open until 7…what about us who work earlier? This is uncool sonics…uncool!!!
