If I could give this 0 starts I would. I ordered a lemonade slushie and got strawberries added to it. Well upon receiving my drink, I noticed it had a weird taste. I got back to the place we are staying for vacation, poured it out and saw that it had CHUNKS of hamburger meat. Highly disappointed and disgusted. The store isn’t responding and the sonic customer service is not taking this seriously. Please avoid this location and even other sonic’s at this rate.

This Sonic is a joke. There’s only ever just a few employees working, so the drive thru line is always terribly long. If you pull up to order, they usually ask if you’re here for a pickup and if not it’ll sometimes be a 15-20 minute wait for “fast” food. I’ve called and hit the red button for my pickup order… but haven’t been helped yet, and I’ve been here over 20 minutes. If they didn’t already have the money for the order I definitely would have left. Do better and hire more people or close the doors.

We pulled up and pushed to order and were told 15-20 minutes to order. Waited 10 minutes and watched 5-8 cars go through drive through and multiple mobile orders being picked up. Don’t go here!!! Unless you want to wait forever!!! We left and went to another place that we’re happy to see us and service was better and got our food quickly. Great job Snow Bird burger and cones.

If you need food quickly for your family this is not the place to stop! I’ve been to this location numerous times each time thinking maybe they were short-staffed the last time but no it is still very slow no matter how many people are working. I pull in hit the button and wait for over 10 minutes then the thing on the screen saying we will be with you disappears but the car that pulled in 5 minutes after me hits the button and they get served after 2 minutes. I place an online order I wait until 5 minutes after it says my order will be ready and I hit the button still no response after 7 minutes of waiting I go through the drive-thru to let them know I’m there. I am rudely informed they are short staffed, I get that and I understand but that’s not an excuse for not answering a call button and saying we will be with you shortly. My food is handed to me and all I get is attitude from the employee like it’s a big deal I ordered one bag of food. The food was good but the service doesn’t even deserve the one star.

Specials advertised for $1.99 on sign. Single deluxe cheeseburger but she states its not available but we can get the double deluxe cheeseburger so we are asking questions so we could do an order,trust me no other cars were there, and she says rudely…just push the button again when u are ready. We were in progress of trying to order. I said lets just leave. Go somewhere else where business is appreciated! So here we are Trying out Bonzers who seem to appreciate our business.

Worst service I’ve had since moving to OBX; our chili cheese fries had NO chili on it, and the melted cheese was just cheeseburger cheese instead of chili cheese, we got no straws for our drinks, and when we tried to get an explanation and maybe a refund for the CCF all they did was brush us off with a few words and wish us a good day. NEVER going back to this Sonic again…..

The service here is absolutely dreadful. I pressed the red button three times before anyone even acknowledged me, and when they finally did, they sounded annoyed that I dared to order. After waiting forever, no one gave me an update — just silence. When my order finally came out, the carhop didn’t greet me, didn’t smile, didn’t even make eye contact — just shoved the bag at me like they were doing me a favor. I’ve had friendlier service at the DMV. If you’re looking for fast, polite, or even halfway decent customer service, look anywhere but here.

I pulled into a stall and pressed the red call button to place an order. The screen said “One moment,” so we waited… and waited. After 8–10 minutes, the message disappeared completely, and no one ever greeted us. I pressed the button again—still nothing. It wasn’t even that busy, so I’m not sure what the issue was. We eventually just left. Disappointing experience.

Rude employees, apparently it was public knowledge that they only had 3 employees and don’t want to make food if it’s a medium size order for a family. After 10 minutes without a word we had to go through the drive through to find out what was happening. Perhaps management training, employee training and costumer relations training isn’t part of the Sonic restaurant values.

I just went through the drive through, they were very busy and seemed understaffed. We had 3 cars ahead of us, and we only sat for about five minutes. When we got to the window, we got our food and drinks within a minute. Kudos to the night shift! We appreciate you!
