Zero stars!!!!! Awful/rude “You didn’t get that from here.” That statement was dismissive and insulting. I know exactly where I purchased my drink, I live next door to this location. That’s what the GM said to me. You wonder why customer service is at an all-time low. It’s because Individuals in managerial roles don’t know what customer service is so how can they coach a team to provide excellent customer service. Learned behavior. Her abrasive tone prompted me to ask for her name, she identified herself as the General Manager, Joanne. I take serious issue with management being combative and dismissive tone used toward a customer. The decision to challenge my honesty rather than seek clarification is absurd. Managers set the standard for their teams. When a general manager models disrespectful or confrontational behavior, it sends the wrong message to employees and undermines customer trust.

I was the only customer when I ordered and it still took over 5 minutes to get my food. I actually tipped the carhop because she was polite, but she never came back to check on me. Order was accurate, fresh, and hot. The boom box is an awesome deal, worth the $5. Had the cheeseburger and Chicago dog. Love those peppers and pickle on the dog. Their cranberry sweet tea is definitely the best drink they offer. Bathroom was clean, but they had some generic latch lock on the door, instead of fixing the door handle.

I get a drink from here almost everyday on my way to work. Today I ordered my usual, and when I was able to take a sip, I noticed it tasted like all carbonation. So the syrup must have been out. I called and let the woman on the phone know what happened, she apologized, and asked if I would like to come back any time today to get a new one. I believe her name is Joanna, she’s the general manager. Great customer service.

Don’t let the historical older reviews scare you away. This location went through a change in ownership/management not too too long ago, and they’ve REALLY turned everything around. Service is polite and quick (we usually pull up, not drive through), portions are great, and the food tastes like what Sonic is meant to. We used to avoid this place on the occasions we’d go out, but it’s really turned around since the overhaul. The drive through line is always warped when we drive by, but don’t forget to take advantage of the drive ups as well. Give it another try!

I ordered a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake that’s on the board. It’s the shake that was promoted as the “Reba Shake”.
On two attempts to obtain the actual shake, I was handed two different shakes and neither one represented the actual shake.
This is the second shake that was handed to me, along with my purchase receipt.
Now with all due respect, does that look like the order I received?
No. I was given a chocolate shake.
I’m driving to Chesapeake and I live in Suffolk, just to order the shake I want.
I wasn’t going back to the location, nor would it be in my best interest to ask for the shake again. I was probably talked about and something smart said about the fact that it was incorrect in the first place.
I trashed the shake when I got home.
I never touched it.
It was to be a small not a medium.
Opportunity to display good quality customer service on product knowledge was missed.

First, the sonic app isn’t working.
Second, I place an order through the parking section, and they brought me the wrong burger, I had to pull out to be able to get out of my vehicle and then go back by the door and tell them about my wrong order. Then I used the restroom and it was very dirty. It was full of urine all around it.
The building is all rusted out, the speakers, the light fixtures. Everything is very deteriorated.

I’m sorry but this one of the slowest places in the Tidewater area. I’ve been working in Suffolk for over 18 months and the fastest I’ve gotten my food from the drive thru was ten minutes. And this is when they’re not busy. ALWAYS SLOW

Only one star since I had to wait forever for my food and then small things were missing. So I went on a Thursday night and they were pretty busy. I ordered my food and waited. About 10 mins later said someone was coming, they never showed up. I had to call back to them and still had to wait another 10 mins for my food. In all I waited about 35 mins for food with no marinara sauce no napkins and no fork. Highly unimpressed, won’t be going back.

Got the Garlic butter bacon cheeseburger, Diet cherry plus fries & WOW not only best fast food I’ve ever had the best burger, best fries & best soft drink I’ve ever had. Great service as well definitely my new favourite food on the go spot!
